“Ice Dreams is a local ice cream shop that seems to cater mainly to locals. It's in a really nice but out of the way location on Pool St. Soft and hard serve ice cream is available, with a surprising number of flavors, even for soft serve. I don't know where else you can find soft serve ice cream in flavors like watermelon and bubble gum. The quality of the ice cream is very good. It isn't as amazing as Richardson's or Kimball Farms in Westford, MA, but it's still really good. We went on a hot summer Sunday afternoon and there was no waiting. If you're a tourist, look for Ice Dreams.“
“People are pleasant and clean atmosphere. I gave 4 stars because I love homemade verses soft serve, but still a good quick treat! A few great options, but size is small for the amount of cost. Of course, I always love the ice cream cakes! Which if you had an app can gain points towards!“
“Stopped here on a day out to Maine with a friend and my family. Sampled the banana red hot, which was excellent, but settled on the salty sweet cream flavor. It was so good, smooth and creamy and a flavor that reminded me of kettle corn. Definitely a must if you’re visiting kennebunkport!“
“I adore this little establishment, and have done so since I was a small child. Yes it does hold some nostalgia for me, of course, but it's more than that. While they do have items made by others, a lot of their candy in the display case is homemade. They have some of the best chocolates I've ever had. Their peanut butter cups are ahhhhmazing! It's like a peanut butter sandwich, with chocolate ends ! They have the best almond butter crunch I've ever had. They have white chocolate almond bark, that I make the trip to Scarborough for alone! It's so dang good. My mouth waters at the thought of the candy they make here. We always used to stop and see Lenny while my dad bought chocolates for mom's birthday, anniversary, or for the holidays. I sure miss Neccos peach blossoms, but no worries, Len Libby's has some as well. I will say they are a tad different, but still crunch peanut butter wrapped in peach candy! The ladies that work the register, fudge counter and candy counter are always polite and sweet. Helpful but not a buzzing nat. If you've never been in, check them out. I will say that they are expensive candies. 28.99lb for their by the pound candy. However it's very very good candy. They sell a ton of other things, and Maine items as well.“
“Currently traveling the country, with my hubby & pup. We don't buy sweets at the store so we can try sweet spots like these. This place did not disappoint. Every flavor I sampled to the ones I got were delicious. I have to say though, I love all things fruit. My recommendation is the Watermelon Sherbert!!! Also, this place is generous with their scoops. Most places give 3 scoops with a large; They give 4 scoops with a medium! Really cute items to purchase too. I snagged a really pretty pair of sea glass earrings. GO...NOW!“

“George was the only server/bartender there on a summer night. He was amazing, great and attentive service. Food was terrific and the drinks he recommended were perfect- not too sweet as requested.Kid-friendliness: There were table games and kid friendly food.“
“Ok the wife and I had a hankering for some ice cream and every one of them was jam packed with long lines and crazy kids so we decided to head down to OOB for some treats. We landed on this gelato shoppe and it was absolutely amazing and creamy and delicious and all of the above. I had the PB and chocolate and the wife had butter pecan and we both said this is some of the best ice cream/gelato we have ever had. The one woman that was working was outstanding and super friendly. We will be back!!!“
“This place is very close for us, the long line is absolutely worth the wait, the owner hands out glow sticks to all kids after dark, the ice cream has a lot of different unique flavors, they even have sugar free and vegan ice cream which is awesome, the ice cream is served with in about 2 to 5 minutes after ordering, which is faster than expected for us, the only problem is the mosquitos, which come out when it’s night, they have very good hours 12am to 10pm at the moment, we will be going back very soon!“
“Came from Massachusetts. Well worth the trip. Staff was fabulous. Food was amazing. Best onion rings. Delicious coffee. Great portions and very reasonable prices. Thank you Gonneville farm. Can hardly wait to go back.Parking: Not an issue“
“The veggie maple breakfast sandwich is my go-to. Always consistent and always delicious. The workers are always very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is nice and clean with a good amount of seating. I am a frequent flyer here and everything is great quality!“
“Simply a wonderful experience at Dairy Queen today in Kennebunk! Great service... very fast and polite ( apologized for taking so long; it was no longer than a 3 minute wait, and told me to have a good day). She made the BEST Peanut Buster parfait my wife and I each had in quite a few different Dairy Queens. It had tons of fudge and peanuts and at all 3 layers. We have had the BEST blizzards here too; they don't skimp on the ingredients at this location. A MUST visit if you are a DQ customer! And they honor the corporate DQ app so deals are to be enjoyed as well. The Kennebunk Dairy Queen ROCKs... Way to GO!“
“The ultimate locale to snag an ice cream, lemonade, or a hot dog while indulging in some prime people-watching. As someone who's defenseless against the charms of peppermint stick ice cream, I must admit this one truly tickled my taste buds.“
“The crew at Dairy Queen was the best! I asked them about making a Mud Pie Blizzard and they were happy to accommodate me. The only folks to do this since DQ took it off the menu. My local DQ back home essentially tells me to pound sand. My Mud Pie was delicious!“
“Sweetcream is a dream come true. They are the best, best, best in the area. I told my partner one day that I want pumpkin ice cream. I didn't know it could truly exist. A week or so later, lo and behold, Pumpkin Pie was a menu item at Sweetcream. My mind was read! The seasonal flavors are phenomenal: egg nog, gingerbread, cranberry... After some looong days at school, trusty Sweetcream is reliable and open late (as far as local spots go), so I will grab a cone, whether its 75 or 32 degrees out.“
