“Nothing beats having a nice restaurant that’s not in Portland! My husband and I just love Oak and Ember. Not only is the food absolutely delicious but the service is on point. Every time we go my husband gets the maple old fashioned, says it’s the best anywhere! We always leave happy!!Plus there’s an on site wine store! And FREE wine tasting almost every Saturday. If you haven’t been you should check it out. ?“

“We were lucky enough to work with Matt and Mariah for our wedding this past Saturday. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with built in features and perfectly accommodated our reception tent, cocktail hour and ceremony. Everyone raved about the food and cocktails but more often than not, our guests complimented the wait staff on their attentiveness. Our wedding was beyond anything we could’ve ever dreamed, thank you to the team at Wandby Landing!!“

“Baked stuffed lobster, the stuffing had no flavor. The Maine traditional seafood stuffing was traditionally prepared with sweet sherry liquor, instead they used All Spice and lemon. The 2lb. lobster had plenty of meat but the roasted flavor was missing in the tail meat. An excellent dish presentation with no flavor. People from away are probably dazzled by the size and presentation of the lobster. Native Mainers know the difference. One and a half pound lobsters tend to have more flavor.“

“Bartender was awesome, there was a manager?, making a spectacle of himself micromanaging the staff loudly in front of everyone, measuring drinks, was not impressed with him but everything else was fantastic I think some discretion when talking to staff is in order.“

“We recently moved to Maine during COVID and I’ve always been a wine lover, but when in Maine, drink craft beer. So for the past 2 years my husband and I have developed a taste for good craft beer, but I still miss wine. After months of saying we were going to stop in, we finally went to Lorne in Biddeford tonight and couldn’t be more pleased. The wine selection was great. The bartender was friendly without being overly intrusive. The ambiance was great. Thumbs up for the pride flag. We only had a couple glasses, but their menu said if you purchase retail wine there they will serve it for a 15 dollar cost. We will probably take advantage of that in the future. If you are a wine lover I would highly recommend Lorne for a good glass of wine.“
