“Love it! The food was amazing, especially the ginger scallion shrimp burger. The staff were super friendly and they took care of everything that we needed. We also came with our service dog and we didn’t have any problems. I would recommend making a reservation, if not you just can walk right in.“

“Fantastic! The best shawarma we've ever had in a wrap! The dumplings and Cauli were totally spicy and added shrimp, delicious. The fried Mexican cheese was also delicious! Highly recommend, we're only in town for 2 days so we'll be back tomorrow!“

“Great service, atmosphere and food! I had mussels appetizer and french onion soup. Both were better than most. I tasted my wife's mushroom risotto (came with her duck) and it was to die for! I am now a risotto fan for life. Definitely recommend for a very pleasant night out.“

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

“The best fried rice I have ever had in my life!I’m really picky on fried rice and prefer to have it wet and more soft(mushy), so far I haven’t found a place with a better fried rice that fits exactly what I’m looking for.Usually I get the Bao Buns and Milk tea but I’ve also tried the chicken tempura, everything is just incredible and I really haven’t had a single bad meal in the 2 years we have been going. The owner even recognizes us now and all of the employees are so friendly, we usually get take out and eat in the car because the seating is a little cramped for me but if you don’t mind being close near others at restaurants than it’s perfect!Highly recommend this place any chance I get and I’m always trying to talk friends and family into trying the food. :)“

“As someone with celiac disease I can go to Little Lebanon confident that I am getting something 100% gluten free. From their gluten free wraps to rice bowls and their fries (in a gluten free frier) there are plenty of absolutely delicious options for me. Not to mention how kind and sweet the family is and how dedicated they are to making delicious food and providing great service. Little Lebanon is hands down the best option for food in Dover and the best Mediterranean food in the state. I can’t help myself from going there every time I’m in Dover and I look forward to my go to order the chicken shawarma bowl with a side of small fries. This place is a treasure and I tell everyone I know about it because it just feels selfish to keep it to myself.Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly“

“The very nice employee who put together our order was very cognizant of any allergen statements we made on our order and made sure to keep that in mind when we ordered the gf bun. But appearantly they have no vegan buns even for the bean patty (which is appearantly a vegan patty). The employee gets 5 stars for being so helpful, kind and aware for us. However it's frustrating that the seemingly vegan option has one thing non vegan and it isn't labeled as such for clarity (which is very easy to do) Especially since vegan food often isn't an allergen-centric food decision. The fact that there is no choice of vegan bun to accommodate a vegan patty seems extraordinarily lazy of the owner(s).Employee gets 5 starsLexies menu design gets 1 star“

“I've been on an oyster kick for a year now. Scouring the NE region and even down to NOLA for the most flavorful bipeds. The Franklin is a total gem. $2 Happy hour oysters were limited to the 3 of their 9 available oyster options from the raw bar. Basically, it is a large, medium, and small offering, which is a fair way to do business. They included a blueberry habanero hot sauce, which was pure fire in the best way.The local cheese appetizer was blackberry goat cheese and made an excellent dip for the Franklin fries!Blueberry bread pudding rounded out the perfect evening. 10/10 would recommend. Don't leave Portsmouth without stopping here.“

“This was our first time at Green Elephant and we can't wait to go back! Finding a restaurant with lots of vegan options is difficult, so when we discover one and it's great, we get excited! We went for lunch, getting there right when they opened and by the time we left an hour and change later, they were completely full. We had an app, the king oyster mushroom tempura, a noodle curry, and a stir fry. All were amazing. The atmosphere was very nice as well. We didn't get any drinks, but they had a really creative cocktail menu - we'll be back for dinner and drinks next time!“

“10 out of 10! Fantastic craft beers, creative and delicious comfort foods, cozy ambiance, and fabulous service! We are former Dover dwellers and C&M is one more reason to keep coming back to our favorite NH city! We loved the chicken nuggets, Rueben croquettes, fish & chips, pork sandwich, and tomato soup. Stomp Box was the beer of choice and we liked it so much, we took cans to go. Perfect hazy IPA! (We live 3 miles from a Tree House brewery so this is saying a lot!)“

“Completely delightful. We were served by one of the two brothers who are also the owners for more than 30 years. The food is prepared and tastes as close to authentic as I remember eating at top tier restaurants in India. The chef has precise control of the American palette's mild, medium, and "regular" hot. There's two other higher notches on the hot scale to choose from in case you are interested. All 4 in our party were impressed how well the chef produced the "temperature" to match the request.“

“We were in the area and stopped here because we heard great things. It did not disappoint!! Amazing prices, great people and seriously all locals. We got lobster benedict, a double lobster roll meal, and a Greek salad with chicken. We took the lobster rolls home because we were so full, but best price around. The Benedict was full of lobster with perfectly cooked eggs. Greek salad was fresh and big and delicious. Can't wait to go back.“

“This lovely restaurant is the kind of place that you celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other momentous occasions. The prices are high, but so are the quality of the food, drinks, service, and surroundings. We celebrated our daughter's master's degree completion at the Library, and it was memorable from start to finish. All of our food was either good or great.Note: you have to go down a flight of stairs to access restrooms. Amanda was an excellent server. If you want a good red wine that doesn't break the bank (by itself, anyway), the Valpolicella from the Veneto region of Italy was stellar.“

“Finally placed a takeout order at Bob's having passed by it many times, and glad we tried it. Our order was ready on time as promised and was accurately put together. I tried a broiled quarter chicken with two sides (mac & cheese, sausage stuffing) and some corn bread. Everything seemed home made, hot and quite tasty. The stuffing really seemed home made, but the mac and cheese was a tad dry for my liking. The chicken was tender, moist and delicious. Like most food these days at any restaurant/supermarket, prices seemed a tad high. Portion sizes were generous however. I'll be back to try the chicken pot pie, which is one of my favorite comfort food dishes. Give Bob's a try! Sorry no photos as I dug in so quickly I forgot to snap first!“

“Great food and some unique combinations of ingredients. Spinach salad was excellent. Very tasty roasted garlic dressing. Had the stuffed sole special. Sauce was a lemon caper which over powered the delicate fish although my friend loved it. Tight seating so not much privacy between tables. We got there just before 5pm on a Thursday in March and place was almost full. They don't take reservations so go early.Parking: Small parking lot for restaurant. Street parking available“

“Let me say first: A definite stop for anyone on a brewery tour! The Edison Imperial IPA has to be experienced.Aside from that. I loved the layout of this place! Divided areas offer many choices to congregate and it's well lit without feeling "clinical", which is a plus for those of us who like the looks of brews along with tastes and aromas. A shame it was drizzling that day, that outside seating area looked very inviting.“

“Paul and his younger co-worker (can't remember his name) are litterally the nicest, most attentive, authentic people you can have wait on you in NH! They ask how you are, have deep conversations while waiting on you and truely care about every customer that come through that door! The employees and great food are why I come 1x a month and will continue to do so!Food: I always get the same thing, Greek salad, extra feta and extra beef, love it! 5 of 5 ? all day!If I ever open a buisness, I would poach these 2 amazing workers in a heart beat!Dietary restrictions: I am a diabetic who eats low carb, perfect place for me!“
“Very impressive. I stopped in here on a recent trip through Portsmouth just because I liked the name. Extremely well made beers, with authentic German styles, something that always makes me happy. “Was told about this place from a buddy of mine that goes to UNH, the service here was fast, friendly, and the food was surprisingly cheap. The quality and taste of the food was exceptional, especially considering you can get a specialty burger, specialty fries and a drink for just $15. Quite possibly the tastiest burger you can get in the entire Seacoast, I will definitely be coming back!Parking: Parking is done from the road, but considering its near UNH campus and fraternity/sorority houses, spots can be difficult to find“

“Freshest, most flavorful and generous lobster rolls I've ever had!! Omg they were amazing...and their fish chowder and homemade desserts are awesome too. We loved it so much we came back twice during our trip. Great family owned atmosphere with killer views right on the Piscataqua River. The first visit I got their House Special which is a lobster roll with a cup of chowder. The lobster rolls come with either butter or mayonnaise - or both which is how my server preferred it. The first time I chose just butter and it was amazing but the second visit I took my servers advice and tried it with both and ooooohhhh boy what a treat!! I know it's calorie overload but wow was it heaven haha!! You also get a choice of either fish chowder or clam chowder and I went with the fish chowder and it was also incredible - huge chunks of fish and nice veggies - so savory and delicious- a true comfort food lunch! The second visit we tried their lobster stew and it was also great but I loved their fish chowder the most. We also tried several desserts over our visits - all homemade - blueberry pie, apple pie, and a whoopie pie - all excellent!! According to their website, they grow the blueberries and all sorts of veggies like lettuce and tomato that they use - and they get their lobster and fish right off the docks nearby! How cool is that?? It's a family owned business with three generations working still - vibe is cozy and so welcoming. They seem to only have patio seating which fills up fast - this is definitely not a secret spot haha! The views are fabulous and prices are what you'd expect for the quality and type of food with generous portions. Geno's has gone onto my permanent list of must visit places when I visit New England!! Highly recommend!!“
“Good beer, which is obviously the idea, but i cannot get away from the feeling of it being a Starbucks style transaction. you cant talk to someone with the pure love of beer when your making a selection, no server to discuss the product. the operation is quite marvelous to see, obviously setup very well for large distribution, but the seating inside, while bright and sunny, doesn't give you a lot of room to even move about, not relax. very tight quarters.my wife and i went outside to the outside seating, which at night must be gorgeous id imagine! much more relaxed atmosphere outside.they made two incredible sours, and their IPA is great, so for those who aren't an IPA fan, they have an offering for you, but its not a huge variety on tap. They have some of their canned options available, but who goes to a live taproom style breweries for canned flats!?“

“A rock solid place for seafood. I had haddock and scallops. Scallops were sweet, haddock was flaky, both fried but with a very light breading and not greasy at all. My wife had fried lobster tails and she really liked them. They have a full bar, she had a rum punch she liked. I recommend this place to everyone.“

I've gotten 2 different pizzas and the chicken cordon blue (all different visits) and it was all over the top good! “Good atmosphere, typical brewery vibe. Food is good for the price. I got a Reuben and loved it. The beers are top notch. I'd recommend trip or quad clip if you're into IPAs. The wait staff was 10 out of 10. There was a mix up with our order and they made it right. Overall great experience, would recommend going here for a cheeky Sunday funday or hanging out with people you enjoy talking to (because you can actually hear them). 5 stars!“

“One of the absolute best breakfasts spots around. Food is consistently amazing. Great service. Often on a wait, but WELL worth it. Add yourself to the list & pop over to Good Juju or walk down to the boat launch and say hi to the town ducks while you're waiting. My personal favorites are the Down East French Toast - stuffed with maple walnut cream cheese and topped with my choice of fruit usually raspberries & the Dwight (insanely good) & lately the Green Chili Burrito - blueberry pancakes the perfect add on & the muffins!- grilled with butter of course. Homemade cinnamon swirl toast! Smoothies! Don't worry - you really cannot go wrong with any choice here.“

“This is better than the usual Indian dive. The food is tasty, filling and not expensive. But the menu doesn’t deliver what it promises. The “roti” is identical to the naan. The “south Indian” spices are identical to the other curry spices. If this place served Masala Dosas, and made an effort to serve South Indian dishes, I’d give five stars.“

“Excellent food and beer. We ordered steak tips and fish & chips. The steak tips were cooked exactly as ordered and tasted great, along with the mashed potatoes and chef’s vegetables (Brussels sprouts - not bitter, cooked well). Good serving size for the price, $22. The fish and chips were great too, with the fries being above average compared to most places around. Large portion size on the fish and chips - we asked for it to be split two ways and it arrived on two plates with individual portions and each plate was more than enough. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon so it was quiet, nice seating outside and prompt service.“
