“I highly recommend China Rose!!When we moved to Freeport I was SOO happy to have China Rose around the block!! ?I'm originally from the Philly NYC area and trying to find a place that rivaled it... And China Rose does it!I am gluten free and all of their rice noodle dishes are phenomenal, as well as their vegetarian dishes.Vegetarian options: Rice noodle dishes as well. All fantastic.“
“Some of the best Chinese food I've had! The Vegetable Mooshi and Kung Pao with Tofu vegetables were crisp and delicious, the. General Tso's Chicken was perfect and the vegetable rolls were equally delicious. I'll definitely be back!“
“This was great. I travel a lot, all over the country. I’m in Maine and wanted Chinese food. This food tasted better than some “fancy, high end” restaurants. Rice, chicken, veggies, wontons, everything was amazing and fresh. Very friendly customer service as “
“Ordered here for my first time on Christmas day of all days. They were slammed, of course, and it took 4 hours for our orders to be ready. Thankfully, we had ordered at 3:00 because we were already hungry that day so we ended up just snacking ? And then we had a great dinner. It's pretty solid Chinese food for around these parts. Best in this area, in fact. Walked in to pick up and there were tons of people waiting in the lobby but they had my order ready in less than 2 minutes. They were smiling and thanked me for coming in. I've been back three times since and the food is always consistent, as well as the service.“
“Our 1st visit, we ordered veg lo mien, mie fun, pu pu for 2. We enjoyed all of the food. Nothing blew us away flavor wise, but it was decent food. Only 3 tables inside, not really a sit in place. If parking out front is full there’s a free public lot in the back.“
“I absolutely love this place, I went in with wife on Christmas eve asking for chicken fried rice and despite my wife's objections they full filled my wish. It was the best experience in hospitality Ive had in years. The food was great too. Thank you!!“
“I was looking for some good take out for a stay-at-home dinner and a movie date night and wanted to find something the wife would really like to match the holiday RomCom I would be probably be enduring this evening. Not being a big fan of Chinese food but knowing she was and hearing great things from friends, I ordered some takeout from Li's for the wife and I. We got an order of General Tso's, fried rice, BBQ pork, crab rangoon and chicken strips (let's just say we have leftovers for days!). The crab rangoon was the best i've ever had... light, crispy, and with a lot of well flavored cream cheese. Chicken strips were excellent as well, also with a light and crispy coating with moist, flavorful chicken. The BBQ pork was not dry and very tender with good flavor as well. The General's chicken was also very good with a sweet tangy sauce that was perfect and the fried rice? I think that almost surprised me the most. Very moist, and not dry like so many others, with a unique flavor that was almost smoky... very good! While Chinese is still not in my top 5, I do have to say that I am very happy that we have this great place so close by... and I guarantee my wife is happy as I will be a much more willing participant in the future, at least with dinner if not the movie!“
