“A Perfect Family Lunch at DaVinci’s Eatery Just had an amazing lunch with my wife and kids at DaVinci’s Eatery, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was outstanding—truly top-notch Italian cuisine. I had the Chicken Amore, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My wife went with her all-time favorite, the Linguine Carbonara, and as always, it did not disappoint. Creamy, comforting, and packed with flavor. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and absolutely delicious food. DaVinci’s has always been our favorite spot in our regular rotation!”

“A pleasant surprise! We were driving leisurely back from Longfellow's Greenhouse on a Sunday afternoon, and stumbled upon Melissa's Pub and Grill. The food was excellent, as were the prices. To add to the enjoyment, there was live music from a guy named Justin Carver. The staff was pleasant, and seemed to have a good time together, which says a lot about a place! We'll be back!”

I ordered two fish and chips to go and they gave me some nasty crap from yesterday looked like! I would have returned but I was headed out of town and didn't have extra time to turn around! “My roommate, two son's, and myself just had dinner at webster St diner and it was absolutely fantastic as always. my son had a fried shrimp dinner, room mate had the seafood platter and my other son and I both had cheeseburgers and fries! every single thing was just absolutely incredible and if u live in the area or are passing through, this is the place to go. the portions are def always enough to fill u up and the food is so reasonably priced and the service is always fast and they're always so kind.”

I guess that's not to big of a deal. Never came back during our meal to ask how things are. Only came back to give us our check and then asked how our meal was, Our burgers were on the dry side, the French fries were wonderful. It's dated and clean inside.”

“Cruzin' Slice catered my wedding this past October. Although the venue was located outside of their typical radius, they graciously made an exception. I'm so glad they did! The pizza was delicious, the cooking time was quick, and they provided accommodations for dietary restrictions that some of our friends and family had. Communication leading up to the wedding was great and professional. Highly recommend for any event!”

“This Diner reminds me of when the farmers would go for breakfast and stop in for a wholesome meal. Everything was excellent. They use fresh ingredients. That’s a big deal for me. There was fresh Spinach in my omelette and that was a very nice surprise. Nothing was greasy. The Mailhots were quite tasty, and the home fries were also impressive. “Ok, first of all, I have never been unhappy when dining here. Much depends on when customers come to eat; when the food is fresh for lunch or dinner, those are the best times. The family who own the Buffet are very conscientious about presentation, cleanliness, service, etc. The family/employees become really bothered when customers take so much food from the buffet, then waste it, which can cause price hikes. I personally know the owners and they are fantastic folks who are established in Lewiston, work hard to please and have bills and taxes to pay like everybody else. There have been instances where customers have not offered constructive criticism, but who have been down right mean and judgmental toward the family of employees. Prices also tend to increase when customers are slobs, who trash their booths/tables. So, folks, as we honor those who work so hard to continue to feed us, let's consider how we come across when we are not satisfied. Let's refrain from stereotyping folks who don't look like us, who are working to provide for their families by inviting us to participate as paying customers. Not everyone will always be pleased-- and there are legitimate times where someone won't be satisfied for what every reason. Let's be kind. If the Mandarin Buffet is not good for what ever reason, politely tell someone, that's all. We don't need to make spectacles of ourselves in the restaurant just to prove how right or unsatisfied we are. Thank you!”

“My husband and I just had lunch at the Sam’s Italian Restaurant in Augusta, Maine. The cranberry almond chicken salad sandwich was excellent, and I had to save half of it for later because it was so huge. My husband had the chicken parmigiana sandwich and he said it was the best he ever had. Kind, friendly employees. The place was nice and clean. Glad we found this restaurant. We will definitely be back soon.”

“no matter how you order the prime rib, it will be served raw. I guess this is how they always do it just an fyi! 80-100 degrees internal would be an extremely generous guess, as a completely marinated steak with that much sodium in the juice will definitely mask the end result. you have to send it back to have it cooked to food safe temps.”

“I am a regular at this particular ajs, the staff all know my order and do their best to get it in ahead of time if they see me in line. They are usually always friendly and often give my children stickers which is always a bonus. Despite lots of turnover over the years I've grown accustomed to this standard for my aroma joes. Don't forget to tip your batista they work hard back there.”
