“Everything about the place looked amazing! Six of us went there specifically because I am celiac and they advertise gluten free food everywhere, only to find out that it is also a regular bakery with flour flying and nothing in there is celiac safe. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. I think it's important to be clear about that. However if you're gluten free as a dietary choice, you have lots of options! Everyone who got to eat was very happy with their food. Unfortunately I had to sit and watch.“
“Decent prices considering the portions, the "green toast" was simple but nice, and the classic açaí bowl was nice (good texture, not too thin like other places). Ordering via online sites like Uber eats is markedly more expensive, so just call in or drop by to pick up your food.“
“This place has a very nice atmosphere inside. Great place to hang out while you wait for your order. The smoothies and smoothie bowls are made fresh and with good ingredients. There are lots of options to choose from and plenty of combinations for everyone. There are few parking lots nearby but you can find street parking in front or in the neighborhoods surrounding. “I order delivery from The Works Cafe about 4 days a week. I get the same thing everytime. The consistency is 80% which is pretty high. I get the Fresh Mozzarella sandwich on Multigrain bread with tomatoes. I love it with Field greens as well but ordering consistency was an issue so I just stick with as is. The mac n cheese is great when it is great. It can be very salty at times. I order mine without bread crumbs. When I get them anyway its disappointing because I have to remove the top part of mac n cheese to get rid of them. They are extremely strong flavored especially in the quantity put on. I'm sure some people like them. I canno longer taste the mac n cheese because the bread crumbs are overwhelming. Use of real bread crumbs would be better. You never know how much you will get in your cup. Sometimes full and sometimes less than half and everything in between. The bacon is excellent when cooked crispy. The Honey Bear is good. I order it with an extra banana so it comes thicker. Pics are from multiple visits and prior to eating.“
“Very friendly staff! Great Teas gets you through your day. Not a huge fan of the smoothies but others love them. It is Herbal Life , I usually don't like MLMs but this place isn't like the reg ones online. It's still a privately owned place, just the products. I like supporting local people. Great easy location too!“

“I've been told this was the first store to open in maine before Brook city, Ellsworth Nutrition as well as others (although i absolutely still love Brook City & Ellsworth Nutrition. The original. Located at the end of a mini strip mall, plenty of available parking. You can go in and sign right into your account, seating available if you decide you'd like to stick around and hang out. Great service, many options. Was even able to adjust caffeine amount so the kids could choose out of many options.“

“The burgers are LIFE. The delicata squash salad is outstanding. It is surprisingly hard to find great onion rings in the area and these are by far the best I've had. So so so good. We did pickup and found the staff to be very very friendly. Food was hot, ready on time, and generous portions. We will be back (probably tomorrow to be honest!). Really hope they're here to stay!“

“first time going, and it was a great experience. my mom, sister, and i all went and ordered very different meals. my sister chose a harvest kale salad, my mom had a maple bacon burger, and i chose the aloha açaí bowl. the burger was delicious, with just enough juiciness and spice. the salad had a variety of flavors and vegetables, with just enough vinegar to give it a tangy taste. for my açaí bowl, i can't find the right words to describe how delightful it was. the fruit was incredibly fresh, and the super fruit blend base was perfectly balanced with the wide variety of fruits. i will definitely be returning to this place, as the food is locally sourced and the experience was very satisfying.“
