“Wow! What a great meal at Butcher Burger . Our first time there and it did not disappoint. Sadie was great with explaining portion sizes . Our burgers and sea salt fries were one of the best we’ve ever had . Atmosphere was spot on with terrific music playing . I would highly recommend trying this place out .“
“I got a blackberry vodka and some garlic fries, and they were both so good! There was only 1 lady working the whole place alone. Props to her for doing great with all the larger groups that came in (a group of 10 came in when we were eating) . Everyone's food and drinks were great. Good little spot“
“Came here on New Year’s Eve, for lunch. With small children and a vegetarian, bar food seldom makes everyone happy, but this place was a great surprise!Firstly, the bartender was awesome! He offered me beer samples so I can decide on drinks and answered questions about the food.We had the pork cheese sandwich; the tacos; vegetarian fried green beans; a cezar salad; fries and grilled shrimp. For being a bar with a grill, the food was great! The atmosphere was relaxed and we felt good and welcomed here. I would surely come back.“
“All the recent bad reviews of this business is the result of them being targeted by a private facebook group of antivaxers upset about the mandate. Most do not even live in Portland. Most running the group 1k strong are the same leaving the reviews. Feel free to DM me if you'd like the receipts or the names of the people going after you.“
“Great spot for lunch. Good selection of sandwiches, chips, drinks, and candy. I got a HUGE large BLT with an iced tea. I grabbed a seat, which was clean and tidy, and ate in peace. Very close to New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland. Highly recommended for lunch. Lots of parking available and super friendly staff.“
“I'm delighted this place seems to be thriving. From the get-go last winter, they've done a fantastic job. The food is hearty, delicious, and reasonable—and there's plenty of it.The atmosphere is nice, too. It's a comfortable pub-style vibe—a really pleasant place to watch a game (or three). There's also loads of parking. The fact that a lot of the patrons simply walk in from the nearby neighborhoods probably helps in that regard. The best thing about Riverton Station is the fact that it's what Portland used to be—good food, in healthy portions, at a decent price. This bar is a wonderful contrast to all of the snotty downtown spots that open and close all the time. The next time you're still hungry after spending 300 bucks on coconut-infused bighorn sheep spleen compote over a medallion of lamb in the Old Port, stop by Riverton Station on the way home, and get some decent grub.“
“Solid spot. Bit of a dive, bit of a sports bar, bit of a pub. Good wings, tenders, and burgers, and a nice beer list to match. Little parking lot out front is convenient, and there's usually a seat inside even when it's crowded. Fries can be a little soggy and wish their cheap beers were a bit cheaper, but otherwise a great neighborhood spot.Definitely try the sweet spicy chili sauce if you go for the wings!“
“3-4 Small raised tables and bar with upstairs karaoke spot at night. Great food, we went because of menu online and it did not disappoint! Fresh lemonade not too sweet and the biggest and best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time!! Very unique finish with the curry mustard. Mom had the Fish Fry and the potatoes were amazing and not overly salty. Server was patient and kind. Will definitely go back!“
“Diagonally across the intersection from State Theatre. Fantastic bar tender. Good selection of canned beer and draft beer. Full bar. Very good food. Good prices! I sat at the bar and it's a nice ambiance, but apparently there are also two outdoor seating options, I think a second floor deck and a rear patio. Can't wait to go back and I highly suggest visiting if you are in town!“
“This place is exactly what I was looking for after a weekend in Portland visiting breweries. The service was fast and friendly and all of our food was delicious. We had the Cajun Scramble and Sausage Scramble along with the cornbread. There were three of us so we each tried a different flavor as they have blueberry, plain, and jalapeño cheddar. You could tell everything was cooked to order and prepared well. The dining room is active with workers and customers and the walls are colorful and decorated with local art. I would definitely return when back in the area.“
“Food, service, and prices were exceptional. This was our first time in Portland and the waitress gave us great recommendations for our trip. We got the Tokyo, dirty, and French onion hot dog, which were AMAZING. Drinks were very well made as well. Great place.“
“My party had a combination of burgers and chicken options and everything was very good. We didn’t realize going in that it was fast casual but we stayed because it looked decent and we’re pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. It seems pricey for the type of place but the food was worth it.Tables and booths were clean and the restaurant overall is bright.“
“What I appreciate is being able to have a meal like it's home cooked. My favorite hands down, the deliciousness that is their creamy, luscious Polenta. I can't rave enough about the fork tender short rib.Cocktails and Service are top notch.“
“Visited while on vacation in Portland. It was one of the only places we could get into on a busy Sunday night. Just a casual bar to enjoy drinks and a quick bite with standard bar food. Cheeseburger and fries were good and service was excellent. I would recommend for a lowkey dinner or drink in the area.“
“My husband and I went here for Thanksgiving. We really appreciated that it was both open and serving a normal menu. Our meals were great! We started with the poutine, which was excellent. My husband got a burger, Rosie's Nasty Habit and it was very good. Great quality beef. I got the lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster was good, but the mac itself was phenomenal! Super, super recommend! Would love to see an option to add grilled/fried chicken on top and not just lobster. We finished off with some pretty good chocolate cake to go. Will definitely come back the next time we're in Portland.“
“Brought my 5 year old nephew for chicken fingers and a chocolate shake after his basketball practice...he loved it we made a song up during the ride over !!Chicken fingers and a chocolate shake.. gotta hurry up so we won't be late ? ??“
“My husband and I ate here for brunch and it was awesome! Great food and warm, welcoming staff and atmosphere. We learned they were going to start serving dinner as well so we went back and it was also superb! Definitely will be coming back. It's just a really great place with a cozy vibe and wonderful people.“
