My mom & I went here for breakfast while I was visiting her last October 2023. It's an adorable little place, you're siting inside an old train car, it is a very unique experience. The food was very good, I built my own egg scramble/omelette with: Swiss cheese, spinach, broccoli, and pork sausage. It was delicious The service was very quick & friendly too. I can't wait to go back and try something else on their menu.
Very pleasant service, child friendly. We came in 1/2 hour before closing on a busy afternoon but we were seated quickly. I loved my bacon cheeseburger with home made potato chips, yummy coleslaw and a good dill pickle. Peanut butter and jelly is not on the menu but was easily arranged. After several false starts, I finally got to try the Miss Portland Diner, and it was worth the wait. I had a basic staple - the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was cooked to perfection and I devoured it fast. I also learned that a downeast Reuben sandwich is an open faced sandwich, which was much to the chagrin of my dining partner. Service was decent and vibe had a cool old skool diner feel to it. I will be going back and trying more food. I will adjust this review accordingly.
