Tiqa Cafe & Bakery

Beautiful castle-themed little building and a nice patio, but when we went during a visit to the Farmers Market, they hardly had any pastries to choose from (no doubt due to the market visitors, even though it was fairly early), and what they did have wasn't that appealing. We split a muffin, and it was okay, but nothing compared to nearby bakeries.

This place is really hit or miss. I live down the street from here and when we first moved here it was our favorite tgo to for a breakfast sandwich. We never go anymore... mainly because the hours are strange, there's been at least 3 or 4 times that we showed up and it was unexpectedly closed. Also I've been here and they have been out of eggs or some other key ingredients for the egg sandwich. Went here on Monday off Memorial Day weekend we were the only ones there. The guy behind the counter was very friendly efficient and cheerful . The coffee was excellent and really hot . We got the breakfast sandwich with mixed greens and bacon $6.00 it had this great sauce on it really delicious. The muffins and baklava both are homemade.The patio area is really nice though it was too cold to sit out, would be nice if the seating inside was a little more inviting .
