“Been going there about four years with some of the family. Some of my family travels to Sanford every month from Old Orchard. I'm big on clam chowder. In my opinion it's the best clam chowder I've ever had. And I've tried a lot of restaurants who serve it. The service is fast and good. What I like a lot of the items come small medium and large. Which is good depending on your appetite. Easy going music throughout the dining room and not blearing ..,“

“Perfect home town feel. Awesome chili. Can't beat the prices. My bf got the full belly clams with shrimp and a bowl of chowder. We both ate for under $40.Dietary restrictions: The only gf options are chili, hot dogs and hamburgers. Lactose free frozen yogurt and sherbet.“

“Went on Monday and it was such a cute little place! The waitress was so nice and there was hardly any wait at all other than trying to decide what to have! So many things sounded delicious. I had eggs benedict and I was not disappointed! The pancakes are huge as well and they put so many blueberries. I would highly recommend going to check it out.“

“I can't imagine I haven't posted a review for Sweet Memories yet. This is always my go to spot for breakfast. I live within walking distance. I can walk to breakfast if my body is having a great day otherwise I drive. When I walk inside the ladies always welcome us with a huge smile. The food is always on point, price is perfect. My favorite part about coming here is the restaurant reminds me of Cheers everyone knows you - maybe not by name but by face. The signs on the wall are fun. If you come in - in a crappy mood I always leave smiling. If a waitress is in a blah mood I bet you can give them smiles for miles. I just love these ladies and their hard work. They were my love for breakfast here in Sanford. My second is Mel's on Route 4 / Alfred Rd. You can't go wrong with either one.“

“Publick House is a staple in the Sanford/Springvale community, and you can tell due to the regulars that populate the establishment on any given night. Regardless of when you go, there is sure to be a wait with limited to no spots at the bar, because again, people are dedicated to this place, and for good reason. Publick House always has an extensive draught beer list, featuring many local beers from Maine. This is a revolving list and changes regularly to keep the lineup interesting and new. They also have a variety of cocktail offerings...and everything is squeezed fresh. On the topic of fresh...everything is made in house, and it is evident when you sit by the bar, as they are consistently prepping food items. And serving sizes are HUGE, and price points do not break the bank. Some of my favorites include the are the roast beef panini with thinly sliced ribeye and the buffalo chicken salad wrap! There are also a variety of sides to choose from other than fries, but I highly recommend the onion petals with the chipotle ranch! Overall, Publick House is a great establishment with elevated pub food offerings. It is certainly worth the wait, if you are willing to give it a shot!“

“I feel like this place needs a good 5 stars. I think it has gotten a less than desirable rep in the past but I can confirm it is not the place I knew growing up. The food was really good, did I mention 2 DOLLAR TACOS ON WEDNESDAYS! the pulled pork nachos were also great and the prices are very fair. Pool tables are in good shape and overall nothing to complain about.“

“Candy , the person working the take out/phone/ DoorDash counter was a ray of sunshine on this gloomy day. Excellent customer service! Updated me on the order and any progress. Attended to all customers and delivery drivers with joyful professionalism! I did not rate atmosphere because I did take out.“

“The breakfast is always good. I have not tried any of the lunch menu. Service is pretty good, try and be patient as sometimes there's two waitresses at best, that I have seen. Inside is nothing to write home about, it's a diner style restaurant with maybe 20 tables. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking. Support small businesses!“
