“my husband and I stopped in for a late lunch, I had the special, Guinness beef stew pot pie (which was recommended by our waitress Trinity, who by the way is a sweetheart!!! And my hubby had a bacon cheeseburger. We have never had a bad meal food is always wonderful and portions are huge. I always have leftovers to bring home ?“
“Located in the former Breakfast at Laney's and Cyn's Grill & Bar, Indo U.S. Cuisine is a family owned and operated Indonesian American restaurant. In May 2023, they are open on Fridays and Saturdays and by appointment only on other days. They also serve Saturday breakfast from 8am to 11am. I stopped by here for takeout recently. The dining room has a homey feel with a red & white color scheme with a few tables, counter seating, a sofa and TV on the wall. There is also an outside patio with more table seating. The menu offers Indonesian fare such as chicken satay, beef rendang, beef martabak, noodle dishes, fried rice, chicken porridge, chicken congee, and pork tinorranga plus traditional American fare including hamburger with fries, BLT, meatloaf, sloppy joe with fries, shepherds pie, American chop suey, pan lasagna with beef and baked goods. Saturday breakfast is offered here for $10 plus tax including 2 eggs, 2 bacon, hash browns, toast or English muffin, coffee, & orange juice, OR 3 pancakes, 2 bacon, hash browns, coffee, & orange juice (in May 2023).They also offer DoorDash delivery and pickup for the Indonesian menu only (in May 2023), prices slightly higher online than in the restaurant.I was sort of tempted to order an American dish after seeing the menu, but I decided to stick to Indonesian and ordered the Beef Rendang with white rice ($13.40 plus tax). My food was prepared to order in the kitchen while I watched some political rally on the TV. My food was bagged in ready in about 15 minutes after ordering and was given a free cookie to enjoy for dessert. The beef rendang sort of resembled a beef stroganoff except with rice, which had tender soft pieces of beef, potato in a thick savory dark beef gravy with soft white rice on the side. This dish had good rich flavors.Overall, a very good takeout meal and a very welcoming couple. I will have to try some of their American food too on the next visit here.“
“Let me tell you EVERYTHING was perfect! Our server Morgan made a killer cocktail and had a refreshing personality. Every single bite from appetizers - mains was absolutely superb! The scallops were cooked a perfect medium rare absolutely melt in your mouth, hands down the best I’ve ever had at an establishment. I left very full and very very happy! Absolutely cannot wait to return and am recommending to everyone.“
“10 out of 10! Fantastic craft beers, creative and delicious comfort foods, cozy ambiance, and fabulous service! We are former Dover dwellers and C&M is one more reason to keep coming back to our favorite NH city! We loved the chicken nuggets, Rueben croquettes, fish & chips, pork sandwich, and tomato soup. Stomp Box was the beer of choice and we liked it so much, we took cans to go. Perfect hazy IPA! (We live 3 miles from a Tree House brewery so this is saying a lot!)“
“Stopped by on a whim today while passing and man I made a mistake. I'm going to have to come here all the time now. The two owners (I'm assuming owners) were running things and we're awesome even with it being a bit packed. They were working very hard to greet each person and make sure they felt welcomed and noticed which was awesome to see.I got an absolutely amazing sandwich, mortadella with pesto and Italian meats and fresh crispy veggies I want to say, but could be missing/misremembering ingredients. Absolutely divine. In some banter between the owners I believe the husband makes them and he absolutely nails it.I also had an order of their rice balls and a slice of lemon cake. All of it was absolutely excellent and I will be back because life without those sandwiches just isn't worth it.Also, I didn't try the donuts. Another reason I have to go back.“
“Place was swamped and every table was taken on Sunday morning but we were seated within 5 min and the waitress was quick to bring coffee and drinks and took our order in matter of minutes. Food was out within 10 min and all of it was great! Our waitress checked on us a few times and made sure we were well taken care of! Breakfast for 2 was 34$ we left 60$ happily and will definitely be going backParking: Is located with post office in same building so on a Sunday it was closed and there was plenty of free parking“
“Late Post: I always enjoy a unique and fun dinning experience and found this restaurant when I visited NH in early March. I tried a few unique dining experiences in the past and this was one of the memorable dinning experiences I had. Each meal is very creative and deliciously crafted. The dinning room (kitchen) with 6 guest seating. It’s truly fun watching the chef cooking. It feels more like you having a private chef in your house.First, when you come into the restaurant (but it doesn’t feel like a restaurant in a good way) you sit in “the living room”with other guests and enjoy a drink and appetizers, then, when the dinner is ready you finally walk into the chef’s kitchen. At the end of the course meal they provided each guest a giveaway bag. There were the tonight’s menu, honey and chocolate truffles in the bag. The chocolate truffles were amazing as well.I only wish chef had a little more time for interaction with us after dinner. He was already preparing meals for next guests while we were still sitting at the table.Overall, I highly recommend if you look for a unique and amazing dinning experience in NH.“
“Got a turkey club sandwich. Was very good and fresh ingredients. Fries were thick cut. Pickle slice was large. Staff was very friendly, especially seeing we arrived 45 min. before closing (internet had the wrong hours). They didn't rush us, we only knew the time because we heard other patrons say it. This is at a golf course so has that vibe. The tavern is behind the main building, which is for functions. When you park, looking at the building, walk to the left and around back. Took us a minute to find it because out was dark.“
“Very cozy atmosphere, the owner greeted and seated us, our waitress Desirae was very friendly and attentive. We got the Carolina pork fries, which were amazing. The fries were crispy and seasoned with a very yummy maple powder, topped with very juicy mild smoked pulled pork and coleslaw. I ordered the double barrel ribs, brisket, cornbread, and beans. It came with 4 big fall off the bone ribs and 5 or 6 slices of brisket with a brown sugar house BBQ. The beans are the best I've ever had. There were several chucks of meat in them, and the cornbread was awesome. I took half of my meal home for leftovers. My boyfriend got the smash burger and which was equally as good. We will be back ?“
“Decided on a date night with my husband and as usual, Diverge didn’t disappoint!!! I’ve never had a bad meal here and usually recommend it as one of my favorites in Dover. I had the salmon and risotto, which were cooked to perfection! The salmon was slammin! The dessert was decadent!Nick was an outstanding server and the hospitality was off the hook!!!“
“Great spot that my partner and I stumbled upon for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Their local tap selection was incredible with something for everyone. We got the sprouts for an appetizer which was delivered quickly in a large portion (we dug in too fast to take pictures) and my only gripe is that they were browned and crispy on the outside but hard / slightly undercooked on the inside. My partner got the meatball sandwich and said it was easily the best meatball sandwich he's ever had. I got the Patrick Henry which was also delicious. The service was lightning fast, my pizza came literally 5 min after ordering. With so many interesting menu items, we will be certainly be returning on our future trips home from New Hampshire.“
“Very,good...read the bad reviews of the Chili and they COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG..got a Chili Cheese Dog and it was the BEST I've ever had.My wife got the Double Cheeseburger and it was the perfect size, cooked perfect and on a nice soft bun.We split an order of Onion Rings which were superb...very light batter and fried to perfection with some nice Ranch dipping sauce on the side. The girl at the counter was very Attentive and came out and made sure we were satisfied.Talked to the two young gentlemen doing the cooking and they OBVIOUSLY care about making nice food.As far as cost...it's on par with ALL the Burger spots and cheaper than a few but THEY BLOW FIVE GUYS OUT OF THE WATER!...except for the fries.Overall it's clean, inexpensive and very very good...the dogs are high quality and the toppings are high quality as well,I'll be back often.“
“The first time here and the servings were right for the prices, and the food was above average, which was great to find. This will be a place to revisit another time. Going out has got to be so expensive nowadays. It is hard to hold prices against an establishment.“
“I know the food is really good and the peppers platter is the best meal for the price it fed me for 2 days. The employees are very nice but a little pushy to get you out , had a hard time to enjoy and relax. That's the only downside.other than that we loved the food.Parking: Lots of places to park.“
“I received what was quite possible the warmest welcome in the history of Durham, NH when I stumbled upon here on a very rainy day moments before closing. The "thumbs" (the better version of chicken fingers) and fries were scrumptious and just what I needed. Franz helped me feel right at home and very welcome for my first time in NH. Furthermore, this place is adorable, and you can get some laundry done!“
“We took my mother in law here for her 91st birthday and the wait staff and food were wonderful! We did not feel rushed in any way, and our food came out within a reasonable time and everyone enjoyed whatever dish they had ordered. Although I did not order the French Onion Soup, a few in our party did, and it looked delicious! Highly recommend!“
“Great atmosphere but more importantly excellent food. We ordered some wings, the beet salad, and a pizza. All basic items but nicely prepared. The wings were cooked perfectly with a nice char and house-made sauces. The salad was perfect and the pizza was the best I've had in some time. The cocktails were ample as well. We'll be back.“
“Absolutely fantastic old fashioned inn. We have booked rooms here for traveling performing artists and for wedding guests, both of whom we did not want to disappoint.Safety: Located in one of the safest communities in the country this complex has a full fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Fire and EMS services are full time professionals and only 3 minutes away.Food & drinks: Great food and beverage selection in either a formal dining room and the Tavern.“
“Spent the week in Durham for work. I came to Clarks twice during that stay and both times the food and drinks were excellent. Got a burger with Cajun fries the first time and came back on $10 pizza night and got the sausage pizza which was great. Will def come back here if I'm ever in this neck of the woods again“
“This place is such a sweet place for drinks and some food. We sat at the bar and loved their wine selections. We ordered the brussel sprouts and a burger to share and it was delicious. Would definitely return for a table experience! Nice atmosphere to enjoy it all.“
“FURY's Public House: creates and gently cooks my favorite burger: BLUE CHEESE! I LOVE BLUE CHEESE. MAYTAG BLUE, ROQUEFORT, DANISH BLUE, SWEDISH BLUE, WISCONSIN BLUE, CASHEL BLUE, FRENCH BLUES, ALL OF THEM. ENGLISH STILTON. Have any of my readers out there ever enjoyed MAYTAG BLUE? This particular blue cheese is like eating silk - the fabric. Creamy, non-salty, not dry. But soft and lovely. So, easy to use. Very expensive, but so worth it. MAYTAG BLUE is hard to come by in New England, but oh my gosh. So, the Blue Cheese that Fury's used on my burger was NOT Maytag Blue, however the Blue they used was delightful. My burger was cooked to order. Not dry and overdone or RAW! But, just perfect, this is hard to come by these days! And then, they added the blue cheese. oh my goodness. So wonderful. They serve alcohol as well.“
“My company Hager Photography was fortunate enough to photograph two weddings at Spring Hill this year, one in the fall and one on New Years Eve. Both events were AMAZING. The grounds are so beautiful and the staff at Spring Hill is the best. I highly recommend choosing Spring Hill for your wedding or event because the views will be spectacular and the staff will make sure that everything runs smoothly.“
“Was there yesterday around 4:30pm with kids. Place was expectedly empty at that hour. Ordered a Junior beef three way for me and juniors and super three way for the kids. Wasn't expecting anything beyond solid and thought that might be just a hope. Boy, was I wrong. My beef was spectacular. SPEC-TAC-ULAR.Fresh, pink and warm. The bun was crispy and crunchy. The ratios of beef to sauce were spot on and mixed throughout. This was the best a beef can be. My god, I am drooling 24 hrs later. This sort of beef isn't supposed to be possible in New Hampshire. I was looking to scratch an itch. What I was served was downright religious.“
“The nook is just a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch. My daughter's and I have been going for years and even though we always order the same meal (eggs benny) it gas always tasted good. They fo many things for tue community and the same staff has been employed tlfor a long time. Always friendly and “
“Came in about a week ago, visiting from Rhode Island, staying in Alton, breakfast was delicious, although my eggs Benny came with carrots, odd but still pretty good. I'd say 8/10 , eggs were a bit soft , the sauce was perfect, everything else was great. The ladies working the front were prompt and very nice and laid back. I'll probably come back“
“We’ve tried Sonny’s a few times now for both dinner and drinks and we always have a pleasant experience here. So far, we’ve really enjoyed any and all food we’ve ordered between apps and dinner, absolutely no complaints there. They have a ton of fun and unique drinks that are always delicious and easy to sip. It can get a little loud when they’re busy (which is quite often during dinner time) but the atmosphere is perfectly moody and somewhat hipster feeling which we really enjoy. Sonny’s is one of our go to’s if we’re looking for some good drinks and good American food.“
“Went for my birthday with my husband, and it did not disappoint. Everything about this place is top notch, from the service to the atmosphere to the food. Cocktails are incredible. There is nothing that we ordered that we wouldn't highly recommend, abd this is the sort if place where I'd order something different even if I'm not sure about it because I know it would still probably be good. The scallops and my husband's steak were cooked perfectly, and the flavors were on point.“
“Great blend of bar and restaurant. Delicious food and good staff made everything a good experience. Depending on what time you go there will be a college aged Cronus but everyone is respectful. All in all great experience. Get the steak tip risotto and thank me later?“
“I'm American Chinese, living in Germany now. I have to say, the place is intimidating at first, but the bartenders are super friendly and open. I love the atmosphere and overall experience. Great place for drinks. Was there during the Christmas break 2023.“
