“Small business, clean and great company. We had a GREAT experience at two Hogs Winery. The very knowledgeable owner Ann helped my family have a great time taste testing her home made wine. I HIGHLY recommend stopping and taste testing these great wines. This was an awesome stop during our trip to Maine and would highly suggest taking a stop as this cute small business winery. My sister in law and I are big wine girls and we have never had wine that tasted quite like this. ? Cheers!!”

“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! “Generally recommend because this is literally our favorite place… however last night was a horrible experience. It was my husbands birthday and we took our 2 kids. Amy was our server and she was AWFUL. We were there for over an hour and a half and barely got drinks and our appetizers. We ended up getting so irritated by lack of service we didn’t even eat our meals. We took them home and threw them away because at that point it was soggy and gross. So we didn’t even eat what we paid for. Instead of standing around chatting maybe actually serve your tables. Never got drink refills or asked if we wanted one for that matter. She wasn’t even the one to bring us our stuff. Other servers did because she was to busy chatting and standing around. Btw the host was fantastic and is always fantastic. She works very hard!”

“Breakfast is great. Omelets are high end made to order, and the home fries are cooked till opaque, not overdone like some places. Top it off with a good cup of coffee, and you'll start your day right.”

“Made a reservation here because we liked the idea of a 4 course tasting menu and trying new things. It was nice enough inside but could've looked better with tablecloths and better centerpieces. Not leaving the door to the supply closet open the whole time would've helped atmosphere too. Also, having the bar so close to the table with the server standing at it most of the time, made us feel like we had to whisper to have a private conversation or discuss the food. Server was nice enough but would represent the caliber of the menu better if she dressed in something other than jeans and a tshirt. Also, she forgot our silverware until the second course, when we asked. Food itself was a mix of OK and LOVE, no hate. Some things were absolutely amazing , while others were cooked well but slightly overseasoned. Can't really rate this place on the food though because they do a different menu every day! I would still love to try this place again and give it another shot, just not for a special occasion again, since it was too informal feeling for that.”
