“I had the customizable poke bowl. I asked for a recommendation on sauces from the young man who prepared the fish and it was delicious. He mixed a few different sauces and it was so good. I’m from Hawaii and have also lived in Japan for several years. I’ve eaten a lot of poke bowls on the mainland and this is easily one of the best poke bowls I’ve had outside of Hawaii. The fish tasted fresh and I love that they use vinegar sushi rice in the bowl instead of plain rice.“

“The main and most important point is that that food was excellent. The restaurant had a great turnover with lots of customers coming in and out. My wife and I ate onsite. There were enough chairs inside by the window to eat at the counter on a cold snow day. The service was very friendly. We were brought a spicy sauce extra that we had not asked for out of a genuine act of hospitality which was much appreciated, very delicious and added to our experience. The grape leaves came warm, served with house pickles on lettuce. The restaurant felt authentic, like a family run joint. The food was definitely homemade and fresh, in all the best ways. The falafel sandwiches were perfect, the hummus was super delicious and ideal consistency and temperature, and having fresh made to order juices on the menu was a big plus too. Highly recommend for Birmingham. Clearly labeled vegan and plant based options.“

“Simply Good Kitchen has some of the most delicious and healthy variety of entrees, soups, salads, and desserts I’ve ever had! The options are so plentiful that I refer to it as the grocery store of chef cooked meals. I also enjoy the vegetarian options and the convenience of the 24 hour kiosk as it’s on my jogging/walking route. It’s perfect for just because, when I don’t want to cook, or order in. It’s definitely a Birmingham gem.“

“Griffin Claw is hands down our favorite place to grab a beer and some food. We've been going regularly (probably too regularly) for years now and it's never disappointed. The atmosphere is great, it's always bustling, the staff is great, and the food and drinks are top notch.Kid-friendliness: Griffin Claw is a great option for children. If you show up for dinner any time between 4 and 6 PM, the restaurant will be full of kids in high chairs.“

“Best Cigar lounge in Michigan with a great selection of cigars, delicious food, and an upscale, pleasant atmosphere. However, the kitchen closed early at 9:30 PM despite the advertised closing time of 10 PM, and the staff seemed eager to rush us only had half the stuff on menu that we could order cause they said they closing down kitchen, resulting in a loss of at least $200 in potential revenue from our table alone, not to mention the other patrons still present that they told at 11pm, 5 more minutes we closing when it says hours are 12pm already 18 people in there another large amount of money I saw lost.“

“It was one of the best wraps I've had. Super good and pretty healthy. It was very loud in there, so having a conversation was difficult, but the server was nice. There were no combos. Everything was a la cart, so it was a little more expensive. 3 people, wraps and fries...$45 before tip. ?‍♀️“

“My friends and I had a bad experience at a restaurant nearby and 220 ended up being right next to it so we decided to give it a try. They brought us in right away no matter how late and busy they were. Our server Jackson, was so nice and fun and made sure we had a good time!“

“Wonderful food and great service..To begin, we shared both the crab cake appetizer and the mussels.. The broth for the mussels was so good, that we wanted to drink it as soup after we finished the mussels. The crab cakes were full of crab with like filler. For the main course we ordered the bouillibase. and the whitefish. Both were prepared perfectly. Delicious, well presented and good sized portions. Even though we had to take some of our entrees home, we still ordered dessert to split, the dark chocolate crème brûlée. So good- warm dark chocolate custard with a perfect caramelized sugar topping. The service was amazing. Attentive, pleasant and offered great suggestions. Even though the restaurant was packed, we never felt ignored. If you are looking for a casual seafood meal with top notch food and service, Streetside Seafood is a terrific choice.“

“I have been there 3-4 times, but not in the last year. Met a client for dinner and hostess was very nice and welcoming. Server, MIA, was attentive, explaining specials and answering questions regarding menu. MIA brought a bread basket, water, my wine and my client a lemon cello martini to start. A gentleman, who did not introduce himself, but maybe the manager stopped at our table. I had salmon, which was cooked perfectly and very good. My client had the snapper, which was one of the specials. Which she indicated was ok, but not great. We did have dessert, pistachio cheesecake, which was really good. Bananas Foster was ok, not great. Service was excellent, and based on the outstanding food from my earlier visits I will probably try again. But again, my salmon was great!“

“The price, quality and quantity were all very good. The service was horrendous but the rest of the pluses made up for the extremely slow service. What was most st disappointing was there were only 8 customers. I am typically pretty patient with restaurants due to workforce issues but this was just a really bad waitress. But they still get 5 stars.“

I used to really really love it and have it nearly every day, because it reminded me of NY style pizza more than anything else in Michigan.Then, at some point in the fall of 2021, I noticed a marked decline in the quality of the food and overall experience. For example, there were several instances where I had ordered for delivery (in advance, too, specifically for an event that we were hosting at our house) and the food arrived late and/or not hot and soggy. So, I honestly felt turned off by it and stopped ordering from here as often as I had in the past.Over the last year or two, I have noticed that their food is always awesome if you’re dining in, but is not consistently great quality if you’re ordering for takeout or delivery.Ultimately, I really felt uncertain about what to rate this place.From April 2021 to Sept 2021-5 stars.From Oct 2021 to March 2022-3 stars.From April 2022 to present-4 stars.There are great things about it for sure, but I have had too many disappointing experiences to give it anything more than 4 stars, unfortunately.Parking: Parking, particularly when picking up, is very very difficult. You obviously can’t stop at Maple, and the street it is situated on rarely if ever has a free spot. So you have to pray that your food is ready when you inevitably double park your car right outside.“
