“I’m super excited to have discover 28th street Nutrition just buy googling for a new place. My original spot I was visiting on the Beltline and Celebration Drive is no longer there I was so disappointed but found a new fav spot. Mackey has been so wonderful to me each visit these last two days and provided some great and helpful information and suggestions, and I will be going back today.“
“Frosty boy is our favorite icecream place. They have every kind of icecream, good pricing and the most kind and caring staff. The last time we were there our 2 year old fell and dropped and crushed her slurpy and without us needing to ask the staff told us they would make her a new one at no charge right away!“
“We live in the neighborhood and love that there is an ice cream shop easily walkable. Great selection and the best service!I very much appreciate them giving out peppermint ice cream at Holidays in the Heights, I hadn’t had it in years and this was the BEST I’ve had! Thanks for being an awesome part of the community.“
“We just stumbled on Broad Leaf Brewery between soccer games and we were pleasantly surprised. Drinks were reasonable and we stopped back to eat with some friends. Menu is a little limited but tasted good. You order at the bar and it was easy and the staff was friendly. Atmosphere is laid back and they have some arcade games, pinball machines, and games you can play at your table. You can also do indoor pickle ball and kickpin.“

“Went to Pals with some friends, I turned out to enjoy it a lot overall. The food was fresh, fast, and full of flavor, and relatively cheap. I can't vouch for authenticity but I can vouch for taste! However, the dining area and especially the bathrooms were quite dirty. The mens bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, which was unsettling. Maybe the womens bathroom was spotless! There are two TVs in the restaurant, which are playing sometimes risque music videos with music that was a little loud for my tastes. The front of house seemed very understaffed, the waitress doubling as hostess and tripling as doordash gopher.Overall i would go again and recommend, but wish they would address some of the issues that distract from the delicious experience.“

“We got the chicken chili mono, goat vinadaloo, garlic naan, and chicken tikka. All were good, but the momo was outstanding. The vindaloo was good, but had several pieces of bone in it, so just be aware of that. The chicken tikka had excellent flavor; you got a nice smoky flavor, but it was really quite dry which I didn't mind, but also be aware of that. The naan was very good but you didn't get much of it.“

“Hands down, the best fish and chips in Grand Rapids. While I've sampled bites of my husband's order - the Cuban sandwich, the Smoked Brisket, and four of the different pizza options - and they've all been terrific, the fish and chips are so good I can't not order them. I've also tried a number of the beer options which are also outstanding. It's casual, so come as you are. Also, the service has been friendly and attentive each time we've visited. You can't go wrong giving them a try!“

“Good place to take kids. Have had mixed results with food freshness but generally it’s good. The chicken on a good day is really good! Pizza is pretty good- They will make you whatever pizza you want to add to the buffet and make sure you get some before they put it on the bar.“

“Thank you so much for catering lunch to the auto auction today! We had tons of people tell us how it was the best lunch they've eaten at the auction. You were all so wonderful and sweet to work with! Looking forward to ordering again soon!“
