With guidance from our friendly server, we chose Fetah with meat as our appetizer and the half-chicken meal to share. It was so much food. The naan was delicious and the chicken and rice was spiced perfectly. The Fetah with meat was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The crispy pita chips, garlicky yogurt and chick peas and savory meat were simply delicious! Highly recommend!”

The restaurant is beautiful inside, the wait was short, and our server, Veronica, was absolutely wonderful. The food—wow!—large portions, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The drinks were excellent too. It was the perfect birthday brunch for her and a great time for both of us. A true gem in Dearborn—highly recommended!”

“Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

Father's Day I dared to try my go to. Crispy Honey Chicken and a side of Lo Mein. The chicken seemed different than pre covid but at least tasty.. a lil too sour and peppery? Which is hard to achieve for me. I ordered the Midnight Gallop, and for some reason I was served a non-alcoholic version (Refresher). I guess I'm glad because virtually every other time we've gotten alcohol, we regretted it. Their wine is fine, the Dragon Fruit Crush is bomb. But we had to send the old fashioned back cuz it didn't taste like any liquor. Just some nasty mixer. Enough is enough.”

“By far, the best experience overall was the management! We had an event going today and our food was a bit delayed. The manager was amazing. We didn't even complain. They went out of the way to take care of us, the restaurant is beautiful on the inside as well. I definitely think you should pay this place a visit and try the food. “My only complaint is that whatever they use to clean the floors leaves a slippery/greasy residue, and whatever they use to clean the tables has a very strong smell. If I could suggest anything it would be to use something else bc the Lysol smell ruins the eating experience. I love this place. It’s a good coney, so if you are expecting something other than a coney check your expectations. Something has changed about it, and for the better. Food quality actually has gotten better. Staff is sweet and friendly and on the ball.”

“We visited La Gelati in West Dearborn and had a truly fantastic experience. The ice cream itself was incredibly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the different kinds we ordered. What made this visit unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received regarding food safety.
One of the workers went completely above and beyond for my family. She took the time to help us find a non-allergic soft serve ice cream option for my son, and then actually went all the way into the back to bring out fresh, uncontaminated sprinkles to ensure his treat was entirely safe. It is rare to find a place that takes food allergies this seriously, and it gave us total peace of mind.
The only minor downside is that the shop was quite busy, and with only three workers on shift, it took a little while to get served. However, seeing the level of care and attention they put into helping customers, the short wait was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be returning!”

The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. Her customer service skills are phenomenal. She is an excellent trainer. She is very patient and thoughtful with new employees. She did not expect you to learn things overnight that she has practiced for years. I took a picture of her skills in progress. Due to staffing she is not doing special orders but she can write on a cake if you get there early enough. I made sure the bakery was cleaned nightly. You could literally eat off those floors. ?”

To begin with, my shrimp was so charred it was nearly inedible. More bafflingly, our cook felt it apt to throw food at us, a gesture neither entertaining nor appropriate. My sister clearly informed the cook of her mushroom and shellfish allergies, yet he carelessly used the same utensils for her dish, causing an immediate allergic reaction. My brother also tried, multiple times, to clarify his order, only to be ignored; the cook placed what he deemed fit onto his plate. I ordered the trio, and while he confirmed my order, he only gave me shrimp and steak. I expressed to him that I didn't receive my chicken, but was met with an attitude. He questioned why I didn't clarify at the start. I reminded him that I had indeed specified my order when he initially asked, and it was even written down on the order sheet he was using. Despite the evidence, he seemed uninterested in rectifying the oversight and continued to display a dismissive demeanor. This lack of attention to detail and blatant disregard for customer communication left me deeply frustrated and tainted our entire dining experience. The indifference continued when my niece and her father requested double rice, only to be met with evident reluctance. And later, when I inquired about sauce, the response came with a touch of disdain, suggesting such requests should have been made at the outset. Our intention for visiting Benihana was to celebrate my niece's dance competition success. But the evening was anything but celebratory. As we were leaving, hoping to address our concerns, I asked the hosting stand for additional contacts or a manager. They vaguely suggested calling back the next day, all while standing around, exuding a palpable disinterest. Given this regrettable and frustrating experience, I firmly believe seeking a refund is both appropriate and warranted.”

Every bite was bursting with flavor, from the perfectly seasoned, crispy chicken to the mouthwatering batata sandwich. The food truck is impressively clean, and the service? Top-notch. “Came here for the first time based on a google search for a coffee shop and tried the Yemeni Scrambled Eggs and it came with khubz and sawawik on the side. They also have American type dishes for breakfast and lunch. I also had a gingerbread latte. Everything was so tasty and came out quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and while the place is hidden in a small strip mall off Outer Drive and Pelham, there was a constant flow of patrons. Only complaint is that it’s cold throughout the restaurant (winter time) from the door opening constantly. I recommend (if allowed) they get an exterior entrance enclosure so there’s a space between the outer and inner door.”

“We visited La Gelati in West Dearborn and had a truly fantastic experience. The ice cream itself was incredibly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the different kinds we ordered. What made this visit unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received regarding food safety.
One of the workers went completely above and beyond for my family. She took the time to help us find a non-allergic soft serve ice cream option for my son, and then actually went all the way into the back to bring out fresh, uncontaminated sprinkles to ensure his treat was entirely safe. It is rare to find a place that takes food allergies this seriously, and it gave us total peace of mind.
The only minor downside is that the shop was quite busy, and with only three workers on shift, it took a little while to get served. However, seeing the level of care and attention they put into helping customers, the short wait was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be returning!”

The fries tho…it’s been awhile since I had fries that I just want to devour by themselves without any other condiments and I could’ve totally eaten an entire large order by myself! “Clean. Had grilled and fried jumbo chicken tenders, salads, crunch wraos and sweet rolls at the Dearborn location. We tried chicken tenders, the fried chicken sandwich, and grilled chicken sandwich. Fried chicken was good, a little salty but better than being bland, firm but tender, not chewy, moist, and flavorful. Grilled chicken also flavorful but not as salty. Mac & cheese had good flavor but too mushy (overcooked). Sweet rolls were $8 for some, $10 for others. Rolls were baked through great with gooey fillings. OG was our favorite! The biscoff cookie butter flavor didnt come through as much as the cinnamon filling did. Same with the oreo flavor - bit too much cinnamon with the crushed oreos for filling but the topping was great. Peach cobbler was really good but not half as much cinnamon as the biscoff and oreos - surprisingly. Been wanting to try these for months and SO glad we did!”

I asked if they could add whole garlic cloves, and they were happy to accommodate, which I really appreciated. My only wish is that they were roasted until they became soft, sweet, and almost spreadable—like a beautiful garlic paste. That’s the flavor I was hoping for. If they ever dial that in, I genuinely think it could put this pizza on the map.
The dough… wow. The undercarriage was exactly how I like it—crispy, sturdy, and perfectly baked. You can tell the foundation for an incredible pizza is already here.
Now imagine this mushroom burrata pizza finished with roasted garlic cloves and just a light drizzle of truffle oil. That would take it from great to unforgettable.
