“Love this bar. I would say one of the best dive bars around. Love the outdoor seating, beer is cold and everyone is so friendly. Only popcorn is available, but I saw people ordering delivery. If you want a place with a cool vibe and great drinks look no farther.“

They only had 1 waitstaff on besides a bartender on a Saturday afternoon, took a while to get some service but we were acknowledged by someone (not sure if he was a manager) so at least we were not ignored. Once our order was taken, drinks came fast and food shortly after. Great environment, music was great, keno, and cold beer! Waitstaff was very friendly.“

“My husband and I have been going to The Ocean Crab for over a year now. We’ve never had a bad experience there. The staff is friendly, the food is always delicious, and they just added to their menu which was also amazing. We tried the Tonkatsu Ramen and it was amazing! The pork roll was perfectly cooked, there were plenty of vegetables nestled into mix, and the broth was rich and felt like comfort in a bowl. If you’re looking for a really good seafood/Asian/Cajun mix of food, this is where you should go!“

“Fun fact about Moriarty's: they host jazz bands on Tuesday nights, and for that I love them. Ok, I'm wildly biased by the jazz offering. The pub itself is super divey, hole-in-the wall. “Went to meet up for the radio station giveaway contest. Nice set up. A few different places to grab food and beverages. They had tables and menus at table to order from the restaurants inside. All you had to do was scan the q.r. code and look at the menus from each of the different restaurants. They had ice cream at 1 restaurant and my girl got some. Bathroom was big and clean. Plus they had outdoor patio next to the river.“

“Great hamburgers and friendly staff. Abies Bar has a history in Eaton Rapids and is a great place for conversation, drinks, and some great food. Bar does have a sports bar feel without having a rowdy atmosphere like other sports bars.Parking: There is more parking on the side of the Bar and behind the bar.“

“I met a friend here because the kitchen is open until 10:45, and we were hungry. Had the duck fat fries (which were the best item of what we had) in addition to the deviled eggs and a pizza. They kill you with add-on charges (over $1 for a side of ranch or garlic sauce for example, plus more to sprinkle a little cheese on the fries). The deviled eggs had a very odd chemical taste to me, which I think had to do with the mustard used. The pizza we had, which was some prosciutto and habanero cream combination recommended by the chef was nothing special.The atmosphere is good, and even better when the patio is open. “Great location with a lot of nearby parking in the garages. Views over campus are perfect. Bar service is fast (hey, it's a campus bar after all!), but service out on the patio is great, too, if you are patient because the place does get full. They do enforce id's, of course, but they also enforce the maximum head count. This is fabulous because it means they get full but never overpacked (you know what I'm talking about). Decent selection of beers and whiskeys. Wine choices are slim but ok. They'll make any mixed drink you can name or describe, so go for it. If you want to enjoy the views with less of a crowd, go early. But if you want the views, the crowd, and the energy? “The Ave is a Lansing staple, hosting some of the best food in the city and an awesome environment. You can have many different kinds of night at the Ave. You can go there for a nice dinner, you can go there for a drink and a show, or you can go there and get absolutely ripped. All are 5 star experiences, and the people complaining about service at a punk bar like it's an Olive Garden are lame as hell.“

“We hosted a party of about 30 at HopCat last night for my son's MSUCOM graduation. First, I had a nice call ahead of time from Brett, the manager, to confirm the party and our arrival time. The timing was a bit tricky because of the graduation ceremony. Brett really tried to time everything for us so the room/food could be all ready to go right when we arrived. He even left his cell number for me-how many managers would do that?! So impressive!We had the top floor there which is an awesome space if you need a special event room. Everything was PERFECT! The food was amazing-all of it. We had the chicken taco bar, the burger bar, the boneless wings, and the Cosmic Fries. Our servers, Maria and Alyssa were warm, helpful, professional, and sooo efficient. They handled the crowd with ease and always made sure we had enough food, drinks, napkins, etc. They worked so hard to make our event a success for our guests. I cannot rave enough about the service we received at HopCat. They all went above and beyond. Brett, the manager, is on point with his management of this establishment!“

“Cool place if you like dimly lit dive bars. Was visiting for my son's basketball tournament. Walked in with my wife and was immediately greeted by some friendly locals They welcomed us and told us the jukebox is free lol. You can play anything you want and they love it. “My husband and I visited on a Wednesday night and had a great experience! It was a fun atmosphere without being too loud. We both had cheeseburgers with fries and a Michigan Mule. Everything was SO delicious and fresh. All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. “Reviewing for Rehearsal Dinner that was held here: overall had a great time! The coordinator Ben was wonderful to work with and he accomodated my specialty request for a disabled guest. He also upgraded our room for free after not realizing an event was going on right next to the original space we booked, which was nice. Everyone really liked their food and drinks. The only thing that went wrong was the groom's entree arrived 20-30 minutes later than everyone elses. There wasn't much communication regarding this, so we were left wondering if it was forgotten before it finally arrived. Otherwise, everything went great, menu and dessert were as expected. We have also visited One North on other less formal occasions and always had a great time.“

“I dined at Joe’s on Jolly for the first time tonight with a large group. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good; everything came out very hot! The service was ok. I did think it was a bit pricey. I was a little off put when it came time to pay and the waiter said there was already a 20% gratuity added to my bill and held out the screen for me to add an additional tip. The screen showed 5, 10, or 15% options… for an additional tip. I felt that was definitely unnecessary when an automatic gratuity is already added.Parking: Easy to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: There were some arcade games in the back which would have been nice for kids.“

“I've used Tony Ms for 2 funeral luncheons and they have been amazing to work with. Melanie is easy to communicate with and made planning a luncheon less stressful during an already stressful time. The wait staff was amazing as well, and even remembered us from the last time we were there. Guests complimented the spread of food (especially the BBQ meatballs!) and everyone enjoyed the banquet space. Thank you, and we will recommend you to anyone looking for a banquet space!“

“Henry's was one of the first places we went to have a beer and some food upon moving to Okemos. It is a standard bar eatery. The service is personable, polite and always entertaining. Their menu holds up, with options for all eaters. They have very tasty food at a respectable price. Don't forget to have some oysters, as they are both tasty and great with a cold beer. The ambience is straight forward and wide open. It's not a quiet place, but it's a good place to meet people and have a transient conversation while enjoying good food and drink. They offer some screens with sports and great people watching. I recommend Henry's Place for a great experience in Bar Americana.“

“Went in for lunch today. The place was extremely clean. Our server Sabrina was very knowledgeable of the menu, very pleasant and extremely friendly. Our food was very well priced as the same prices were as anywhere else you go. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back. I had the brisket mac and cheese, and my husband had the Tipsy Cali. It's nice to be able to go somewhere, and it's not the same type of food like everywhere else in town!“

“The place is really active. The restaurant of course is a little more slow motion than the rest of the place being it has different sections but they all open up to each other fairly nicely. From the bowling lanes to the arcade to the restaurant it's a nice setup. So when I give it five stars of course five stars within the type of place that it's meant to be. In other words the restaurants more of a sports bar restaurant so when it comes to sports bars this is definitely in my book of five star little higher end Sports Bar.Parking: It's wide open I got a huge parking lotKid-friendliness: Oh this is definitely the place to bring your kids you can sit down to a quality meal and your kids can be off out your airplane in the arcade or bowling. Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him.
