“We’ve been going to this Applebees for a while now and I’ve got nothing but good things to say. We have had Adam S. as our server for the past few times and have had an amazing time with him each time. Coming from a customer service background, I was shocked on how amazing he consistently does. He always has a positive attitude, ensures we’re good on drinks, checks in on us, and goes above and beyond. It feels that he’s an essential part of the team at this location and easily has the best attitude out of every team member we’ve interacted with. “OMG...This place brings you back to when the world used to be normal, people were happy, families connected over going out to eat, and things were affordable. An old old-school pull-up, order, car-hop type place. Comparable to Olympic Broil, but a little better. If Nip 'n Sip was smart they would play up on their uniqueness, rather than changing to become more like the garbage of the 2020s. Granted, the prices are trending higher, but still a great deal. The food is beyond DELICIOUS, portions are great. I've tried the olive burger, chili burger, chili cheese-o fries, fried mushrooms, and the Hammy Sammy. All are perfect, good portions, delicious as hizhell, just AWESOME!!! Love this place, I would eat here every day if I could (it would be an olive burger and something else)!“

“Reviewing for Rehearsal Dinner that was held here: overall had a great time! The coordinator Ben was wonderful to work with and he accomodated my specialty request for a disabled guest. He also upgraded our room for free after not realizing an event was going on right next to the original space we booked, which was nice. Everyone really liked their food and drinks. The only thing that went wrong was the groom's entree arrived 20-30 minutes later than everyone elses. There wasn't much communication regarding this, so we were left wondering if it was forgotten before it finally arrived. Otherwise, everything went great, menu and dessert were as expected. We have also visited One North on other less formal occasions and always had a great time.“

“My husband and I visited on a Wednesday night and had a great experience! It was a fun atmosphere without being too loud. We both had cheeseburgers with fries and a Michigan Mule. Everything was SO delicious and fresh. All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. “Henry's was one of the first places we went to have a beer and some food upon moving to Okemos. It is a standard bar eatery. The service is personable, polite and always entertaining. Their menu holds up, with options for all eaters. They have very tasty food at a respectable price. Don't forget to have some oysters, as they are both tasty and great with a cold beer. The ambience is straight forward and wide open. It's not a quiet place, but it's a good place to meet people and have a transient conversation while enjoying good food and drink. They offer some screens with sports and great people watching. I recommend Henry's Place for a great experience in Bar Americana.“

“I have had good service the several visits I have made in the last few years at this location. A couple items that are not often mentioned are the delicious fish dinner. In the picture is the 2 piece. There is also the 3 piece. Crispy flaky delicious fish. The only fault in this dinner is it is getting quite pricey for a fast food restaurant. I considered 4 stars based on that, but still gave them 5. The other item to try is the double Mushroom Swiss Burger, but add sauteed onions to it! Put a little mayo on it, delicious!“
“The place had no more than 10 people which made it nice to meet up with some friends. I ordered what was supposed to be a blackened chicken sandwich and there was no Cajun seasoning on it. The chicken was cook perfect, just missing the seasoning.“

I've knocked the food two stars down to three because it just seems like more could have been done with it it actually was a quality product for that alone is why it gets three stars I think it could have been prepared and presented better. I knocked the service two stars not because it was bad service it was just not up to five stars or four as far as I'm concerned. The only reason I didn't give it five stars on the atmosphere it really wasn't that crowded, and it was still somewhat noisy place acoustically. I'm not sure why it's a little noisy in there, but it's a visually beautiful pleasing atmosphere. Is it cool little location down on the corner of Washington Square right down from the capitol. If you're in the area I'd give it a try if you're looking for something a little more fancy restaurant bar feel.Parking: Well, the reason I say it's someone difficult is because it depends on the time of the day you're going there and it's all street parking. you usually can get parking within a block when it is tougher times to find a place to park, Maybe sometimes you got to go two blocks. But most of the time, you usually can park within the block of the establishment you're heading for down in this Washington Square area.“

It's greasy bar food, & I order it when that's exactly what I want with chicken tenders in the wrap. The Mac & cheese bites are always lava filled goodness, never overcooked or soggy. “This place made St Patrick’s Day a perfect atmosphere. We arrived around 9pm, got a table from a group what was leaving. We got waitress service from 2 wonderful waitresses. It even looked like they were making food late into the night. DJ was great, volume was good to have conversation.My biggest problem is the bathroom. It was trashed, the women’s only has two stalls and they don’t lock, tiny sink, and I watched 3 people get hit with the door. Oh and the lights shut off on us twice while peeing.Parking: We parked near 7-11 at the garage. Parking is about $5-10 but spaces are limited all around East Lansing.“

“The food has been great here. The burgers and sandwiches were great, and the appetizers were as well. The service, for the most part, has been excellent. The only semi bad experience was one time we went in to order appetizers and dessert and felt like we were treated less than. It was very off-putting, but not enough to turn us away. I definitely recommend coming here!“
