The sushi quality was top-notch, easily on par with the best spots in Michigan, and they had an impressive selection of rolls. We also sampled some of their specialty sake—absolutely delicious. For those not into seafood, they offer a variety of cooked and non-seafood dishes too, so there’s something for everyone.”

We love that they hosted a Be Positive event with pizza & ice cream for the community. They even did a free raffle for kids with be positive items, our toddler won a star pillow and it says positive phrases to her. We just thought it was such a generous and kind event to host that really reflects their commitment to the community!”

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!”

“Congratulations to the Jasons on 10 years of great beer and great times. Always a warm welcome from the incredible staff, great beers and a wonderful atmosphere with many fun conversations over the years with the other beer enthusiasts.
Memories include a birthday party there eight years ago, sitting outside with my son on his 21st birthday the day Liverpool won the title in 2020, the way you battled through Covid and turning my soccer team onto your beer with growlers collected before our games on a Wednesday.

“Farmington Deli genuinely surprised me..I ordered the Italian sub. Very good prices, simple quality sandwiches that taste extremely good.

The prices offered are extremely good. In a world where all the major chain sandwich shops are now charging 12-15$ for a sandwich that used to cost 8 it's a breath of fresh air to come to Farmington Deli. I will definitely be back to try more sandwiches.”

“I've eaten at almost every Thai place in the state. This is the best. Their hot and sour soup puts all others to shame. Their masaman is the perfect blend of spicy, sweet, and savory. Their tofu is fried perfectly, every time. I've never asked for one thing and got another here. The food can be as spicy as you want, and without tasting like Flamin Hot Cheetos. I have nothing but compliments for the cooks here.”

“Service: 5/5, Quality: 5/5, Value: 5/5 Vegan Options: 4/5 Overall: The food was absolutely delicious and we contracted them for our all vegan wedding. Further: Service- Service exceeded expectations. Suzy was very helpful at every step and was very thorough and flexible with the contract so we knew both what were things we were going to need, and who was responsible for providing those things. Day of the wedding her staff was extremely professional and top-notch. Quality - The food was delicious. We loved it as did our guests who were a mix of vegans and non-vegans. Before the wedding we did a sampling and liked a lot of what we tried. We were able to select what we wanted for the wedding and in the end everything turned out great. I will say that the portobello steak was something that was encouraged several times, and I generally dont like mushrooms. We tried it at the sampling and it just wasn't for us. We ended up doing the Chickie Seitan marsala as one of the entrees and it was delicious! Value - Price per plate was fair for all the food/services, and looking at what some websites reports as the average catering cost per plate we paid less than the average for that year. We did go through the contract though and negotiated who was responsible for what and there were many things we sourced separately. This is the advantage of using a venue that didn't require the venue's catering service and this allowed us to use Chive/Suzy who were flexible. Keep in mind that if you have the money Chive could be a total package for you, but they would be renting tables/tents/etc on your behalf and you are paying them a premium to do that. You may be able to get some of those things cheaper by arranging directly. We contracted with Suzy to do a cocktail hour /w appetizers (delicious!), dinner, and a bar with staff to support these things. Vegan Options - They have a full vegan menu from when they were a full vegan restaurant/caterer. I checked online and they still do offer the full vegan menu (or at least a substantial part of it). I rate 4/5 for full vegan menus, though, I am saddened that this is no longer fully vegan.”

“Finally decided to try Savvy sliders.
I walk-in and was promptly greeted at the counter. Didn't take me long to select the chicken slider (their refined menu that's not confusing goes a long way), and it didn't take any longer to get my slider either!
Service was a lot faster than I assumed; the slider was good too, and its a great quick option for a small and cheap meal if you're hungry and NOT craving McD and other chain fast food joints.”

“The food was good overall, but the biryani was underwhelming. The side dishes like bonda, puff, cut mirchi,samosa chat and tea however were quite enjoyable and they mango lassi was also okish.. They do have Thursday unlimited dosa day too..”

“I’m not a huge fan of Chinese food...it is either blah or just ok to me. There’s never been a restaurant that made me think it was great, mostly because I prefer other ethnic food much more. That being said, even with my bias, this place is really good! The portions are HUGE and at a fair price, and the egg rolls are perfectly crisp on the outside and flavorful and moist on the inside. What makes it 5 stars? The staff has a sense of urgency...everyone is bustling around in there, but they are really friendly and you genuinely feel that they are happy their restaurant is so full and busy. I got the sense that they really wanted to please people. Even on a Friday night when it was very busy, we barely waited 10 minutes to get seated. Our food came out very fast and our waitress was super nice. It was also noticeably very clean in there. Nice updated decor and fresh clean tables and booths.”

“We had the cool Henry room for 12 people last night for dinner. Everyone ordered different entrées and raved about their meals. The food was very fresh and there was a large variety of items on the menu for people with different diet, restrictions and different appetites. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and a wonderful waitress. Greg Conley was great to deal with and help us to find the perfect venue for our special dinner. Thank you to Cowleys for the great atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food. We highly recommend.”
