“Delicious comfort food! Wish we would have come hungrier to partake in the pie flight - they looked amazing. The little store had a ton of frozen sweet and savory pies. The inside decor had a lot of fun older signs, ads, and kitsch.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly, kids menu“
“This place is great if you're looking for an affordable, quick, and good country breakfast. Our group of eight visited Blue Goose right before 10 minutes the closing time on New Year's Eve but they still admitted us. So that's a thing we appreciated a lot. Tried their vegetable skillet, Denver skillet, blueberry pancakes, chicken enchiladas, onion rings, and okra. They serve breakfast all day and even have a Mexican menu. Overall all of us were satisfied with the price this place offers and food quality.“
“Was a nice surprise to find this place! Food was plentiful and tasty. Bar type restaurant, had a live guitar playing singer, playing classic 70's type music. Music was not too loud to have a conversation as well.Would like to go back some time.“
“You just gotta love the hometown restaurant and all the awesome customers.Everyone was enjoying themselves and conversations with others. The staff was so very attentive to everyones needs. The food was good. Very reasonably priced.Parking: Approximately 25 parking spacesKid-friendliness: They have a kids outside play area, especially nice in the summer.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking for handicap right next to door, and a ramp to get a wheelchair inside.“
“First time here, and the food was delicious. The chicken came out quickly, so quickly, I was concerned it would be dry from sitting around. Instead, it was juicy, succulent, and perfectly seasoned (not too salty). Shared sides of grits, greens, coleslaw, and delicious pickles. Mac and cheese was good, but not $18 good. I prefer my grits a bit finer and creamer, but still ended up scraping the bowl! View of the river was lovely and am sure would be wonderful to sit outside on a warmer day. Would love to make this place part of a regular dining rotation, but thought it was a bit pricey even by today's standard.“
“Best food I've had in a minute! Everything was perfect! I even loved my mom's coffee even though I don't really drink coffee! So smooth! My mom had biscuits and gravy, and they were amazing! Best she's had in this area so far, and my hashbrown omelette was amazing too! Yummy! And I loved our waitress. She's too kind. “
“Welcome to Phil's - where the drinks flow like gossip at a PTA meeting and the flavors dance on your palate like a drunken ballerina. Let's talk about the real star of the show: the Bloody Marys. These aren't just drinks; they're like Picasso paintings for your taste buds, leaving you wondering if you should sip it or hang it in a museum. Now, onto the grub. Brace yourself because Phil's burger is about to give your taste buds a thrill ride they'll never forget. It's the reigning champ in town, although I'd suggest swapping that Ciabatta bun for something softer - unless you enjoy feeling like you're wrestling with your lunch. But it's not just about the burger - Phil's has comfort food down to a science. The ham and cheese plate is like a warm hug from Grandma, if Grandma was a culinary wizard. And let's not forget the specials - the slow-cooked beef barbacoa tostadas were a flavor explosion that left us begging for more like Oliver Twist in a foodie twist. And let's give a round of applause to the waitresses who bust their buns to make sure you leave with a smile. Their charm and hustle don't go unnoticed, and as a bonus, you get some animal crackers at the end - because who says adults can't indulge in a little nostalgia with their dessert? Phil's isn't just a restaurant; it's a gastronomic adventure filled with flavor, friendly faces, and a sprinkle of whimsy.“
“We live in Saugatuck, and the first time for breakfast. It was rainy day on Saturday morning, place was busy and had to wait for a while. The food was a great and friendly service. But I wish it had more tables so we don't have to wait. Because we were very hungry ?.“
“We always love going here because of how attentive and friendly the staff are, how cozy it is, and the outstanding food. This time, I have to note that the special with tofu (instead of sea bass) and egg plant was one of the best vegetarian dishes we've ever had! The bolognese and Asian salad continue to be outstanding, too.“
“Our car club has enjoyed this restaurant for many years. Even though we are a large group, the limited winter wait staff handles the situation well. The employees are always hospitable and treat us like family. My trotter steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. Vegetables and appetizers were good too. In the off-season, this venue offers a lot of charm and gezellig (coziness).“
“We were in town for a quick trip and wanted a "not so fancy" bite to eat. This place was absolutely perfect and Melanie is a freaking GEM. Fantastic service and conversation and the food was exactly what we were hoping for a delicious. Beer is good anywhere you go, but go see Melanie, she will take care of you!“
“My husband and I have been to Hawks Head several times in the past. Each time we went were very happy with our dinners. Saturday’s visit was equally wonderful. On a beautiful summer day it’s difficult to leave the beach to go indoors. We were seated near the windows and felt like we were outside despite being inside. The staff could not have been nicer. I requested a drink not typically on the menu and the bar tender quickly mixed it for me. The food was delicious. The portions were so big we couldn’t finish our dinner. We were too full for desert which was too bad because they sounded wonderful. I have only one suggestion. On the menue was what sounded like an an interesting appetizer…. Potatoe chips with lots of toppings (honey, blue cheese, bacon, blueberries) We would have tried them but there was only one size and I presume it was large because it cost $18. Thank you“
“Such a cute train themed restaurant in Hamilton. Friendly service & delicious breakfast! I love that they give you the whole pot of coffee on the table instead of having to come and refill. I will definitely go back to this nice place when I am in the area. Oh, the prices are super reasonable as well.“
“Spent the weekend in Saugatuck, came to the BARge not once, but twice. Really enjoyed the chicken and avocado sandwich I had. (I also got that both times) Best of all is the location, loved feeling the breeze from the water, and it gave you the lake town feel.“
“We have visited several area restaurants, this by far was the best service experience we have had. We ate at the bar and this bartender here was just fantastic! And the cream of Squash soup ..i could eat it everyday, just awesome. Nice people!“
“So happy we came to The Butler! We had just previously left a horrible bar and were looking for a nice place to have lunch. Boy did we strike gold!Tiana was our server and was awesome. She was so kind and made our entire experience so pleasant. Completely turned our day around! The manager brought out our appetizer and checked on us. Even the host stopped by.It was so cool to feel like you got to meet everyone working and that customer service was a big deal for The Butler. We will definitely be coming back!“
“Great leap day at Wiks Park. Listened along to trivia while enjoying pizza and a drink. Thanks for having us.Happy pop-up winterParking: Summer can be hard. Look up Saugatuck city in Google to find more parking. Availability one weekday afternoons better.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!“
“Had a great experience bowling at Alley's! So many great options for food and everything was delicious. Our group especially enjoyed the pizza. Such a great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and would definitely recommend!“
“Coral Gables is so much fun.We went as a small group of 8 to Saturday comedy club night everyone had a great time.We would defiantly revisit Coral GablesVegetarian options: All Vegetarians eat. Differently and accept different foods on their Vegetarian list So it is clearly up to that person to ask question about the food and order accordingly.“
“Great little place in Saugatuck! I've been here a few times. The food and drinks have been pretty good every time I have eaten there. Nice bar vibe. Can be a bit loud at times. I've had a bit of wait during peak times in the summer; but it's a nice spot to meet friends, grab a drink, eat some decent food, and enjoy the town!“
“A magnificent restaurant with the best and freshest ingredients. The service was exceptional, we sat at the bar, the drinks were beautifully constructed by an expert mixologist, Kaitlyn, and the overall ambience was cozy and welcoming. SotE is definitely on my go to list of restaurants in the area.“
