Updated to 5 stars.Old 3 star review:They changed to a new point of sale and serving system where you have to order on your phone via a QR code on the table. Payment is clunky as you have to manually enter your credit card information. Not to mention you have to pay and tip before you receive any service. Service is usually still good but they need a post-service tipping option. No WiFi available despite needing to get online to order.“

“Such a great local neighborhood bar. As a patron that lives within biking distance it is always a wonderful local spot to enjoy a cold craft brew on a beautiful day. Indoor is very chill with a geat bar space and nice little outdoor seating for anyone that wants to soak up the sunshine. Very small food menu of pizza with meat and pizza without both delicious Detroit style made fresh to order. Cant go wrong for a brew and beer at this hidden jem in new center“

The soft shell crab tacos are a great way to start your dining experience, don't forget a flight of their in house crafted beer or guest tap ciders. Perfect dinner date atmosphere. “Griffin Claw is hands down our favorite place to grab a beer and some food. We've been going regularly (probably too regularly) for years now and it's never disappointed. The atmosphere is great, it's always bustling, the staff is great, and the food and drinks are top notch.Kid-friendliness: Griffin Claw is a great option for children. If you show up for dinner any time between 4 and 6 PM, the restaurant will be full of kids in high chairs.“

“I just love everything about this place. The food is ALWAYS delicious. A good selection of beer and cider, as well as a full bar. Plenty of TVs with any sport in you could hope for. Lots of seating. Sometimes a bit of a wait or takes a while for food to come out but I don't mind that here!“
