On my search for great pizza worldwide, this was underwhelming. The pizza is cracker thin type of pie, the flavor is good, but the cheese to dough ratio is too much. It is essentially a large size cheese cracker. The service is fast and the setting is peaceful.
I lived in Alamo for 25 years and regularly enjoyed their excellent food! Many times over the last 40 years, I have organized or attended family and friend celebrations at Fricano's for birthdays and other momentous occasions in groups from 5 - 25. Fricano's easily and efficiently handled these gatherings and everyone loved their food, especially the pizza and ribs. I now live in Portage but every so often, I drive all the way to Alamo and pickup my favorite pizza.

We came here last night for dinner and it was phenomenal. Service was fast (and there was another group bigger than ours) and we ordered over 5 pizzas. The pizzas were SOOOO GOOOOOODDDD. So good that we ended up getting it the next day for takeout. The prices are a little steep - my margarita pizza was $14.99 and a pepperoni pizza was $13.50. My pizza also didn’t have basil - so it essentially was a cheese pizza with tomatoes lol….besides that it was good!
