“This place is the one place in the universe in downriver that has gizzards and liver and good ones at that. I personally do not eat them but my in-laws from the south love them! I drove all the way from Flat Rock to here. It's a small little place very small indeed they have a glass case for fresh fish and shrimp. A great sale on shrimp too! What a great find thank you guys so much. You do wait a second maybe about 20 minutes or so while they cook everything for you but at least you know it is fresh! “We have a pretty fix order everytime and quality has stayed decently. Big food portions, can last for 3+meals.We normally order general tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, and young chow fried rice. The beef and broccoli is always fresh and the broccoli always nicely cooked. The fried rice always has that good smoky flavor from the fire and wok.“
“Outstanding food, great service, extremely cozy (maybe 2 dozen seats?). Started with a variety of oysters (the housemade kimchi was excellent), followed by tinned tuna belly with their housemade briny jardiniere, ending with maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had (no mayo, some chili oil heat) and perfectly prepared broccolini. The broccolini was actually on the tasting menu but they were generous enough to make it as a standalone side for us because we wanted to experience enough other things. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Cocktails and dessert were really good too, though the dinner was on a level above.“
“We came here for our anniversary and had a good experience. I loved the staycation cocktail, the calamari and the the sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly the lamb appetizer was over cooked and the prime rib was chewy. Not great. It was also served with burnt hummus. Our waitress was good to me but seemed irritated with us that the steak wasn’t great. We won’t be rushing back any time soon. But we love Detroit and trying new restaurants.“
“Absolutely amazing! We had the chefs choice 6 course meal with the wine pairing plus dessert and espresso. The staff was great from the moment we entered. Our Sommelier was knowledgeable about every wine and described everything perfectly plus answered every question we had. Our waitress was funny and super personable and made the meal enjoyable.“

“I got the ribs and they were so tender. They were fall off the bone good. Two other people got the fog legs and loved them. You get a lot for your money. The order was ready right on time even though they were busy. I will be going back soon.“
