“I am really only leaving this review to emphasize how great Maddi is. I think that's how her name was spelled on her name tag. She was our server at the bar and was an absolute delight. Very friendly, very professional; honestly made us forget there was a delay and a bit of an ordeal for us to be seated which is why we decided on the bar, turned out to be the best inconvenience ever. And I say that just to further accentuate how much her amazing service was appreciated. We did the never ending pasta and she made sure she checked back on us just the right amount; kudos to those preparing the food too! Spaghetti and spicy 3 meat sauce with meatballs was really great and the fettuccini alfredo suprisingly with italian sausage my mom loved. And of course the salad is ALWAYS great. We will be back soon, thanks so much!!!”

My siblings and I grew up eating Mexican food so I have grown picky on which food I like, depending on how it is cooked. I love Mexican food! It’s one of those foods that has to be cooked with heart and soul, I can easily say this food was! I had gotten the birria taco dinner and three pork tamales à la carte. Both were super good. Rice and beans were good too. I think the only thing I would add would be a spicy option on your pork tamales😍🤤 Either way it was super good. I will be back!”

“Dined-in, excellent food at this small restaurant with a few high tables. Split the chicken shawarma plate with veggies with my husband, also ordered hommus and meat grape leaves. Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!”

“Just had our 5 year old birthday party here today and the staff are well oiled machines! I have seen them in action one time before a year ago at another kids party and they have the party down to a “T”. Everyone is so professional and eager to help so you don’t lift a finger. Ordered the Good Burger, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and drinks. First experience and was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. I informed our server that I would be giving him a good review and would be back for more in the future. Highly recommend and well worth the time spent. Even though in a gas station, it doesn't do the food justice as it tasted more like a pub meal. Please go give patronage to this vendor.”

“I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.”

Like there was no one even in the place to help me, it was empty, I was even checking to make sure I didn’t walk into a closed restaurant by accident. But eventually someone came out from the back and I ordered two hard shell tacos a la carte. I had read the reviews that they get soggy so I ate one in the parking lot, lol and it was nice and crispy and one when I got home, it was a bit mushy. They had a very nice flavor, wish there were more tomatoes, I’ll probably ask for extra next time. They were pricey as others have said, costing me almost $10.00 for two tacos (smaller than T-Bell). Not a place you can frequent, but worth a try. The place was being used as storage and the inside didn’t come off the most clean because of it. Also, no inside dining, carry out only.”

Only adults and those who are worthy get the dipping sauces, so we finally have found a food that children like and parents do not mind cleaning up after. Win-win!”

“I have wonderful memories of the Maurice Salad at Hudson's and yours was one of the best I have ever had! I also loved the warm pita bread that came with it. Delicious! I brought two of my lady friends with me and they also had the Maurice and felt the same way I did. We will spread the news and also be back! “Good Chicken Shawarma Sandwiches, I Ordered 2. 8/10 stars.

The only 2 things I didn't like was the extra garlic sauce they put in and they told me 15 mins...walked in 15 mins later and the sandwiches were luke-warm.

So I believe (and having experience working in restaurants)...was that they say 15 mins no matter what and these sandwiches were probably made within 5 mins and sat on the counter.

No worries...I won't hold that against them. It was a quick thing and last minute thing to eat a carry out.
I'll be back because the person who rung me up was very nice.

“Just came to say I enjoy the time I spend at the Wintergarden. The Wednesday wings are great and I get them almost EVERY Wednesday, the Sunday half off pizza is also a great deal and quite tasty. The service is usually good, but it depends on who is working. I am usually there during happy hour so my review is based on that. I have three bartenders I particulary like to see, Brei, who unfortunately for me, has branched out to better herself and is not there so often anymore, Alison, who knows my wing order by heart, and Sam who kicks butt and takes great care of me.”

“China House Inn has become our go to Chinese takeout spot. We love TenYen but it's a little bit further of a drive and the good is close to equal. Delicious egg rolls, good shrimp fried rice, and most dishes have been tasty. The almond chicken gravy is bland and the Mongolian beef wasn't the best but we love the sweet and sour chicken, general chicken, and Szechuan chicken. Very nice workers too.”

The coffee was fresh and obviously a high quality blend. The food was excellent and large portioned, and the service was top notch! That place should be packed full for breakfast! I also felt the portion size to lunch price was fair. Customer service was friendly, as well.”

It was one of the most moist and flavorful cakes i’ve ever had, and the garnishing of the candied carrot and walnut really elevated it. I will definitely be back for more!”

They are released $25 an hour or more. and that is Kirby’s Coney Island and 6 mile Newburgh. They’re the best Coney Island ever I ever been into so please give these waitresses good comments.
