“The food never disappoints! My husband and I always get the Hunan Chicken combo.. delicious! The lady (owner) who answers the phone and checks customers out is a sweetheart and very kind. I highly recommend! P.s.. the crab rangoons are amazing too!“
“This is a fine family owned restaurant. The food is very good to excellent. The only item we do not order is the fried rice as it is bland and always has a lot of raw onions. The seafood trio is wow! The orange chicken is delicious. The king pao chicken is really tasty. Enjoy! Not fancy. Really good value too.“
“Great little spot in East Lansing close to campus with ample parking and easily accessible. Menu is extensive and has a good variety of choices.Spicy beef ramen and Spam rice balls were both delicious and I would easily order them again!Staffing was super friendly and walked around interacting with folks who were eating in.“
“We had a great meal here. The food was delicious. Some dishes are family-style, so quite large portions. The egg drop soup is enough for 4-6 people. My only complaint was that the entrees arrived too quickly after the soup was served, and our appetizer arrived moments after the entrees. Not a huge problem, but I would have preferred them spread out a bit, and in proper order. They have some unique, traditional dishes on the menu as well.“
“I recommend that you not joke on the phone while placing your order. In my opinion, this is the BEST Chinese restaurant in the Greater Lansing area. While placing my order, I joked about it taking 20 minutes. Then I drove 15 minutes and sat in the restaurant for another 30 minutes. I watched people come and go. I heard the girl tell at least 5 people, on the phone, "15 to 20 minutes"! She told a walk-in customer 20 minutes. Well, I finally got my order and headed straight for the Mexican restaurant that I am making a fully functional ecommerce website for, for free. I get to be his delivery service. I spent $23 at Ming's and $15 at the Mexican Restaurant. Tonight's meal cost me $38. No, I ain't eating Ming's food, ever again. If joking on the phone causes this, I don't trust them to not put a great big snot ball in my food. Great Food, just don't piss them off, or you will be George on Seinfeld dealing with the Soup Nazi! I will be marketing the websites I make for Free in a Newspaper I will be handing out all around the Greater Lansing Area. Hopefully, my current bad attitude will calm down before the first edition because I am now thinking about a section for, "This Restaurant is outstanding, But, ...".“
“Mar '24. Our latest visit to this place. Like most restaurants, food quality & server skill can vary greatly. On this occasion we had lake perch & a burger plate. Everything was very well prepared. Food was served timely. Excellent portions. Brews were reasonably priced for this area. Our young male server was very much on-the-ball. The restrooms were in good shape during a busy evening time period. Recd good value for our $$$. All-in-all a very pleasant experience. Would recommend this place.“
“Not all Chinese restaurants are created equal, I don't know how that got to be a thing... Similar, but not all the same. God bless pizza and Chinese food... The best in the old neighborhood and I still stop by once ina while...Vegetarian options: Yes... If you're vegetarian I shouldn't have to do anything for youDietary restrictions: One of my favorite food groups...Parking: Has nothing to do with the food, but the parking lot is on par with Beirut and the Gaza strip...Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant... And they are absolutely the most friendly people thereWheelchair accessibility: God bless you if you're brave enough to try to make it through the gauntlet of a parking lot“
“The owner was really nice, the place is clean and spacious. We were the only diners in what was a huge dining room for a Chinese restaurant, but the take out business was brisk. The green bean dish was outstanding. The other dish, the owner recommended. They have an American style menu and an "authentic" section. I don't remember the name dish but it was listed as spicy. I think the owner may have asked how spicy I liked it (spicy but not too hot, you know they sometimes use a lot of those little red peppers, it gives the dish good flavor but I wouldn't eat one) but it wasn't spicy enough and it didn't impress me as authentic either. Nonetheless it was pretty good and my son and I had a good time. One more plus- the tea was really tasty and uniquely flavorful- like flowers.“
