I usually try to give restaurants a few tries before picking a different business but after being disappointed with the other two places in the area, New China has consistently proved delicious and fresh. Maybe once or twice in the past 3 years has the chicken been dry or chewy but you have to temper expectations with this type of cuisine and again, they have delivered quality way more often than anywhere else around. You'll never be greeted when you walk in and you may be waiting a minute, but it's always been hot and so so good.“
“Wonderful little hole-in-the-wall Chinese take-out place. Food is done within 15 minutes so it's really easy to pick up on your way home from work. Have never eaten inside because of the pandemic but they just re-opened their indoor dining.“

“Nice spot for a quick meal or a snack. The Berkshire pork bun tasted authentic. The shumai has the right flavor but was a little dry. Ordered the veggie buns and the triple delight a few weeks later. Veggie buns were a little saltier than I would like and the triple delight was missing the chives which I was looking forward to. Still tasty enough but not the best baos in my experience.“

The flavors are pronounced, but not too overwhelming… Simply delectable! “My daughter and I went to TK WU in search of the best Chinese food in Ann Arbor. We found it! We enjoyed hot and sour soup, eggs rolls, beef and broccoli and chicken lo mein. Portion sizes for entrees were generous and enough for two persons. As delicious as the food was, we couldn’t eat it all, but we’re glad to take it home for leftovers. Servers were very friendly and prompt to take our order and bring out our meal. Dining room was on on the smaller size but we were able to get seated right away on Sunday night. Everyone else must know that this place is awesome because almost every table was filled and several folks came in for take out while we were there. We look forward to visiting again the next time we are in town!“

“I was at a store near by and saw this place. I decided that it would be nice to have some chinese food. I ordered broccoli and chicken combo and picked it up. They give you a lot of food! I ate this meal for 3 days. They give you a lot of fried rice primarily. It was good but not as good as my usual. I would try them out again if I am in the area, especially if I want a few days wort of a meal.“

“I've never gotten anything bad here and I order about once a week to once every two weeks. I almost always get the general tso's chicken with fried rice and crab rangoons. The amount of food is enough for two meals, and it's always hot and fresh. I've never dined in before so I can't say much about that, but the takeout service is always 15 minutes or less, so quite fast all things considered. I love having this place a mile away from me, and I'm content being a repeat customer.“
“Best ramen ever. Their vegetable broth is waaay tastier than the beef broth. Secret recipe for the best noodle soup dinner for two you can get: tomato&egg soup with vegetable broth, add extra noodles, and meat of your choice (I always do the pork ribs). Fantastic!“

I don't want to get sick of it. Egg Foo young and the gravy is a great brown gravy. The dumplings and sesame noodles are also great. Looking forward to trying something from each category.“

“10/10. Trust me! You will not find a more FRESH experience in this area or even in the metro Detroit area. This place is family owned. They are very nice. I have been here about 4x so far and have had a 10/10 experience each time. They are consistent. I always get sesame chicken and rice. It is real fresh chicken and nice and hot and crisp. Very hard to find. The owner (I believe) gave my husband and I crab Rangoon on the house which was so sweet and it was AMAZING, and again, fresh! So so good. You can tell they use real ingredients- nothing frozen or cheap like these other places. They also serve you piping hot jasmine tea upon arrival which I love. I will be ordering that from now on. Highly recommend. I will continue to come back here with my family and support this business. They deserve it for real.“
“Really good, I got it delivered and the service/delivery man was very sweet! The food was nice and hot. I got the general Tso chicken, and it was crispy and flavorful. I got egg drop soup too and it was excellent, and I got a spring roll it was alright, very crispy though :). The crab cheese wonton though was really good and I enjoyed that so much! I would definitely go here again and try more dishes. Also I got a good amount, very generous!“

But there are a few I would highly recommend. the Peking duck, dry chilli pot (so far tried lamb and frog leg they are both tasty) and hot pot fish literally took me back in China.
