“So it has been a while, but my Grandma was known locally as Aunt Vi. When I came to Michigan to visit, we came down to the bar to have PBR on tap and some good bar food too. In really miss McKinley, but what I really remember is all the love everyone had for my Grandma. She passed away in 2013, but I'm sure many locals will remember her. This is a lovely little town and if you're canoeing or snowmobiling near here, stop by for a beer and tell them Aunt Vi sent you.“

“If you're looking for a small town working class bar with great food, this is it. Parking is limited, decor is old school, floor is uneven. But the service is friendly and prompt, the food tops. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.“

“The moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a very casual small town atmosphere and only got better as time went on. We were greeted immediately and seated. The bathroom had instant hot water to wash hands and towel dispenser and is very well kept.. A very good start I might say. I ordered the "All you can Fish!" the Cod could not have been cooked any better. I had the dry batter. it came with fries and homade Coleslaw which also was very good! I ordered two pieces of pie for dessert that I had to bring home. i couldn't eat anymore. I'm glad I did! lol. My all around dining experience was a very good one and well worth the drive over from Lewiston. Outstanding job Paddle Inn! see you again!“

“Wife and I went in with our minds set on trying their Bison Burger! They had a BBQ plate on special and the waitress gave us a sample! WOW!!! We got the Bison Burgers and I have to say double WOW!!! So good!!! We go once a week for Friday fish and Pizza and wings on Saturday. Have to say it’s going to be hard to choose??? It’s all dang good“
