“Best pizza I’ve had in the Ionia area so far. Next time I’ll ask for more sauce , but I know I am not typical in that. I also love eggplant on pizza, so I’m always looking for someplace to do that. Pizza also passed the test of being good the next day. The proprietor is friendly and the cheese is real. Old town photos on the walls are a plus.”

“The best thing about this place is the service. Our waitress was great! The place itself is a home town local place. So could use updating but it's clean and warm. The food it's hit or miss. I got the dinner buffet and some things were great like the chicken. Others were not. Best part about the food as it's atleast home in house it doesn't taste like freezer food.”

“I had a blueberry bake something. And a cup of very good coffee with very good hashbrowns. One of the best breakfast meals I have had in quite a while. 10:30 AM on a Sunday and they were still very busy. I had to wait about five minutes to be seated Nothing fancy about this restaurant. Just very good food about a 30 minute drive from my house and I will definitely! Be back.”

“Okay first of all your onion ring wasn't the size of a quarter. It would have to be a shallot, and those are expensive, lol. And everything that comes off the grill has stuff on it at some point in the evening. You'd be shocked if you knew how often back of house has to clean the grill in a day.I got the Fuji Apple Salad. It slaps. They accomodated my request for no onions. They did forget the blue cheese crumbles but, like, whatever. Slip me some extra next time, lol. The portions are great, there was totally enough chicken to have some in every bite til the end.The pizza is REALLY good. The pepperonis are huge and crispy on the edge. There's a ton of cheese, too. Mmmmm.)My second favorite food is the deep fried green beans which are served with a side of siracha ranch.I've tried most everything on the menu, as long as you know what you like (for me, no gorgonzola), everything is very good.Unfortunately, I'm not a craft beer person (sorry, Pete) so I cannot attest to how good those are. I stick with Focus which is a very basic beer. The wines I've tasted have all been excellent.As I referenced above, you can buy a mug (I'm not sure what the current price is, $150 ish?) and the pour is the same price as a pint, but the mugs holds about 3-5 ounces more. More beer, same price, I like it! Your mug will then reside at SSB for future use.There's ample parking on both sides of the building.The building is easily wheelchair accessible.There is also a beautiful patio at the front of the building, which is nice during the warmer months.This is not a place I would take small children, yet there usually is at least one small child there, so.... ?‍♀️ It's not a bad environment, just not what I would think of if taking kids out.Please proceed to the bar to order and get your drinks. The food will be brought out to your table when it's ready. Enjoy!”

“A cute little ice cream shop in a cute little town! Lots of different and unique ice cream options. I got a PB&J sundae and added cheesecake pieces. Lots of toppings to add to the dessert of your choice! There was a line to the door when we went, but service was quick and efficient.”

“The restaurant opens at noon and the people are waiting in the parking lot. This place packs them in. The building is clean, well lit and parking it close. The menu covers so many different taste pallets so there will always be something for everyone here. The portions are large and the drinks are strong. Our waitress Stephanie was quick to welcome us and get our drink order. Our food arrived hot and we shared two different dishes because we could not decide. I enjoyed that the sports were playing on the TV, the pull tabs available and the atmosphere peaceful for a rainy Sunday morning. Got out of there for around $60.00 with a tip. I felt so lazy I left the packed leftovers on the table and Stephanie was such a sweetheart she ran them out to us in the parking lot. So thankful for her customer service and going above and beyond. If you're in the area stop by!”
