“Food was excellent, the decor was nice with what looked like trees that had very pretty blossoms on them. They also had animal heads on the walls which are not my favorite decor….. but it is a restaurant that serves exotic meat dishes, so it makes sense. Servers were very nice and food came quickly. “went and got a chicken shawarma from the food truck on Grand River and livernois, I wasn't pleased with it I'm not used to my chicken shawarma being made like a panini. the chicken was a little dry and he could have put more garlic on it. but I'll be back to try other things. I'm just not used to my chicken shawarma being hard or crunchy.“

“It was my first time dining at STH and it wouldn’t be the last. My crab cake appetizer was great and I had the Chuckawalla chicken without the goat cheese and it was delicious. While I was placing my order our waitress asked if I was happy with the sides it came with or if I’d like to change them. No one has ever asked that before. I had the asparagus and swapped out the mashed potatoes for the brussel sprouts. The only thing that could have been better was if the asparagus had been seasoned better. A little salt and pepper fixed that. An all around great experience.“

“I love this place. Most importantly my favorite bartender TJ makes my manhattan perfect. I have had hundreds of manhattans (I am sure) over my lifetime, in airports and also very high end establishments. They all get it wrong. TJ knows to stir the drink and to strain the drink. He also knows the perfect balance of vermouth to bourbon. He takes this care with all his customers….for all their drinks. This, and the food, and the attentiveness of the staff, bring me back again and again!“

“Peterlins has a wide variety of food from which to eat which, for me, is fantastic as I don't care to eat the same dish every time. We arrived late and service was accommodating even though the end of shift was close. My wife enjoys the lemon herb chicken dish and that is her "go to". I have had many other dishes with my first-string choices being the carbonara and jambalaya type dishes. My suggestion would be to request the sauce of your dish "on the side" as they deliver a copious amount of sauce.“

“Budget-friendly menu. Wish pita came on the side instead of the bottom of the platter but, other than that, we really enjoyed the food! Big portions - entree came with soup or salad, rice pilaf, and a dessert. The rice pudding must be popular because they were all out!“

“Our party of four arrived at 5PM on a Monday and our reservations were promptly honored. This wasn't too difficult as the place was mostly empty. But by the time we left around 90 minutes later the place was hopping! I definitely recommend making reservations if you want to avoid a wait. Our table enjoyed the Corn Bread appetizer (delish!) the Gumbo appetizer (also delish) the Dagwood (vegan) Sandwich (also delish - get the trend here yet? ) The Etouffée (yum yum) and the Fried Chicken (best ever!!). All in all we were very pleased with the food. The ambience is sort of "trendy" and quite pleasant. If there was any negative it was the service. For better or worse, our early arrival dictated that the bartender was our server. It's clear that this individual isn't used to serving tables as he basically ignored us most of the of the time we were there. We were able to snag other front of the house staff to fill waters, get extra napkins and get us the check. Those other staff were very helpful and friendly. Next time, I'll just make sure to ask for a server who isn't also the bartender.“

“I had the pleasure of visiting the Bistro on a Thursday night. We walked in to a full buzzing inviting dining room. Great music was playing and the decor is well done with artistic treasures catching your eye here and there. I arrived hungry. I ordered chili knowing it'd be quick and take the edge off. Normally chili is not my thing.... This chili was excellent meaty goodness well balanced spices and piping hot. Checked all my boxes for well done. We enjoyed the Mediterranean plank a long time favorite. It's delicious! The little nuggets of fried artichoke are a treat. The olive tapenade and roasted garlic keep us coming back. Services was timely, gracious, fun and funny. I love that a salad compliments your entree at the Bistro. The house salad is simply one of my favorites fresh greens house made dressing and garnished with dried fruit pine nuts and blue cheese. My boyfriend had the crave worthy Caesar. Entrees were Steak Diane a true classic that is perfectly executed and a special of Blue chicken the is worthy of consideration for a permanent spot on the menu. Although we did not enjoy dessert I got some views of others having the pleasure and next time I'll save room and indulge. There is a interesting mix of signature cocktails, full service bar with local craft beers, a thoughtful wine list that covers all the bases from a weeknight trying something new and not spending a fortune to let's make it special a go for a classic Cabernet. All in all you can enjoy the Bistro on weekly regular basis and have great specials or menu staples and never tire of beginning there.“

“I can’t recommend this place enough. The portions are big enough for dinner and lunch the next day. And the food tastes amazing. Souheil the owner and the general manager Randy doesn’t disappoint, the wait staff were very polite and spot on making sure our drinks were full and when we were ready for boxes they had them ready for us. They never made us feel rushed to leave. Just about the best restaurant I’ve been able to check all the boxes of things I expect. Thank you Souheil, Randy and staff.“

“Stopped by here because my friend had just finished up derby at Riverside arena. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly late night staff (even on a weeknight) who let us stay until the late hours just chatting. Good prices for standard bar drinks. Can’t speak for food if there was any. Decent amount of seating for a side bar. Would recommend if you are passing though or a local.“

Seriously, I have been going to Supernatural for a little over 8 months (I never knew it existed before then) but I am glad I made that first visit!! The food is great, the beer is amazing!! Shadow Realm is one of my favorites (Oatmeal Stout) and being British by birth, trust me when I say I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. These guys have it nailed. BTW... Li'l Nicky... You rock! “Decided to stop in for a late dinner. Marissa was our server, at a bar high top. She was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the fish and chips, amazing. I highly recommend it. I wasn't a huge fan of the coleslaw, but the fries and fish were cooked perfectly.“

“Ive been here a few times to delivery throne chairs and marquee numbers for a party there event space is huge and they’ve made some updates to the flooring. The space can hold a lot of people and every party I’ve delivered to here seem to be a good party and have a nice turn out.“

“I was in town to photograph the Detroit Free Press Marathon. Some of our photographers stayed at the hotel so we decided to eat there while we had our team meeting. The food was delicious! I got the Hollywood Bacon Cheddar burger with fries. The service was excellent also! It was a nice and cozy atmosphere.“

My 5 and 8 year olds love the food and always ask to go here. My wife and I have tried many items on the menu and have been pleased with them all. “I’ve been here twice and ordered the same thing. both times I got Reuben with gluten free bread and chips. I think the second time I got a better quality bread, it was very fresh. The sandwich was good overall, I liked their chips a lot, not too salty and oily.I also liked the way that they have a barcode on the receipt that you can scan to pay through your phone wallet/Apple Pay (which a lot more fancier places still don’t offer this lol)“

The crouton was crisp but a little oily and didn’t have much flavor.The dessert had potential but would have been better with cherries on top.“
