“Hometown local bar with great food and service. Had the lake perch basket and we told Kara that we were splitting. She served us in 2 separate baskets and I got the lemon and hubby the tartar sauce. Amazing. Cook Andrea is a super multi-tasker. We'll be back for senior special for sure.”

“I hadn’t been here since the 80s and it was lovely to be back to visit. The place was almost full and there was such a happy vibe. It’s so much brighter in there than it was back in the day with the brown paneling and the wall of POTUS photos.Service was fast even though they were crowded. I got the breakfast sandwich with sausage and it was perfect. Seriously could not have been better.”

“OMGOSH! I ordered a "Medium" vanilla ice cream soft serve cone & couldn't even take a picture! I thought I was going to lose the ice cream! The girls piled it So high! I can't even imagine what a "large" Could be! You more than get your money here! We have had sundea's, milk shakes, floats, & hard ice cream cones and none will disappoint you Sweet Cravings! These girls deserve every tip they make!(hint,hint!) I still wonder-how they get that much ice cream in that cone! Amazing!!!!”

“Bring CASH! They don't take cards.We ordered a veggie sub, no green peppers and add bacon. A Pepperoni and sausage pizza and double cheese with pineapple pizza.All were made as ordered and on time and delicious!I'd say that this may be the only pizza sauce in town that doesn't give me heartburn.The place isn't really set up to eat in. Although there are a couple booths. Its more of a take out joint.We will be back!Vegetarian options: Chose your own toppings. Can be all veggies!”

“Very busy on a Friday afternoon/evening. We arrived about 4p to sit at the bar, but it was full already! We sat in a booth instead. Our waitress, Diane, was great as we took our time with a drink, then a starter, and finally dinner. Stuffed mushrooms were very good. Cuban sandwich was full of flavor. Customers were waiting out the door by the time we left. It was very noisy and the restrooms are unisex. It is not fancy.”

“What would you like to know about first?!The 'Sit down and order at your table' restaurant... The 'Choose your own ingredients' (like Qdoba or Subway) restaurant.... The bar.... The store....Of course, I will only review on what we experienced. We found this place by accident. We were greeted by a lovely woman who seated us with menus. Seeing the Qdoba style setting when I first walked in worried me, as I don't like that style of Restaurant and my Husband will take care of that for me.It was reminiscent of the Mom-and-Pop style restaurant with the ambience of a Mexican restaurant. We were there at a less busy time, so I'm not sure if they would be able to keep that atmosphere going during rush hour. We had a wonderful time! The food was great! Although my Husband's dish, he said, could have been a little more spicy. And didn't come out as hot as mine did. I love chips and they brought plenty to the table.My husband wanted to make sure that I add, in this review, that you better be ready to take a doggy bag, as they give you plenty of food! And he is a hearty eater.I took pictures of the restaurant. As I noticed online there are many, many pictures of the food, but not so many of the inside. I hope they are clear, as I didn't check them first..The waitress may remember who we are, when she reads that my husband had a complaint... He told her "There's a problem in the bathroom. The sign says 'employees must wash hands' but no one came in to do it. I had to do it on my own!" It took her a short moment.....We WILL be going back to this hidden gem!! .... Just Sayin'”

“This was a fun stop for my family, as we had other supper plans, but the place we were going to go was closed. Lots of fun things to look at in the building, friendly service, but the real highlight is the food! The spicy BBQ burger was huge, well presented and delicious! The side of sassy slaw went along beautifully with it. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals tremendously as well. My nephew claimed it was the 2nd best grilled cheese he’s had in his 7 years of life. The staff was friendly and prompt. Would absolutely return to try more of their delicious looking menu.Parking: Small dirt lot on the side of the building, if they were busier, parking may be difficult.Kid-friendliness: It appears as your hometown bar upon entry, but the entire staff and crowd was welcoming and accommodating to my 6 and 7 year old niece and nephew.”

“I would like to first make known that we live within very few miles of a couple Biggby Coffee Shops....We choose to drive to Coopersville for a latte (any coffee drink) they are always consistant, always taste like it should, (not watered down) flavored to perfection. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, when we have a question. We will always be willing and happy for the ride.”

The owner/manager was right in the mix with the youthful staff making sure things were going well yet he was kind and patient with them.
