“Celebrated wife's birthday. We both had the special - French Onion Soup(delicious), the 7oz Filets, potato & veggie, and creme brulee for $60. The soup is probably the best French Onion I've had. I'm not a big filet person but it was seasoned & Cooked perfectly. The creme brulee dessert is delicious. Service was spot on. Our waitress was on top of everything and didn't miss a beat. We've been to copper rock several times in South Bend. New Buffalo's blew them out of the water.“
“The staff is friendly, the food is awesome, and the prices are reasonable. I come here whenever I have a bad day at work and their cowboy dog cheers me right up. Whenever my girlfriend comes from Indiana we get food here and take it to the brewery down the street and eat it there over a couple beers. My only complaint about this place is they're not open 7 days a week, but overall this is a great place to eat, and I've never had a bad experience here“

“I didn't know what time this business closed and showed up 10 minutes before close. They were cleaning up and getting ready to lock the doors. They also had almost everything put away food wise. Instead of getting mad that I showed up right at close they were very friendly and got all the stuff back out that I wanted to order. This place is amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. The menu is quite good on its own, but the ability to customize is amazing. For the information of people who do not know, this is a takeout place only currently, but you can call ahead and pick up your food right there people The people running it are amazingly nice. This is a restaurant worth supporting.Vegetarian options: Since everything is customizable, any dish can be vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Since you can customize, this should be suitable for any dietary restrictions with the possible exception of strict kosher.Kid-friendliness: Perfectly suitable for children. “This place popped up a few years ago. Let's just say it gets better. I travel for a living and really enjoy finding these gems. I tried the newest pizza on the menu and someone was very gratuitous and bought me a beer for trying it there for feedback. Great right. So I sat there enjoying the newest beer with the newest wood fired pizza, I couldn't stop at one slice. They have plenty of seating family style inside but weather permitting there are plenty of tables outside as well. Please stop in and savor the tastes and smells of this place. You won't be disappointed.“
“Skips is a blast from the past and in the best way. The interior has an old school supper club vibe - dropped ceiling, fireplace, big tables and a cozy bar. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was amazing - everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Skips has been around for 50 yrs and it is clear why - they execute on everything well.“

“I stopped here this past weekend, while traveling, with my partner who is a Cubs fan. We were excited to see this restaurant as we were passing through. The owner was so kind as to greet us at the door, and also check on us during our meal. Our server was also very very attentive and personable. I eat at restaurants often throughout the country, and this restaurant was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever been to. They had great food and the best service of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. The host is quite nice, but the older lady serving needs lessons in polite and manners, and maybe something for memory issues, she couldn't keep our orders right.
