I can't specifically say much about this Meijer to differentiate it from any of the dozen or so Meijers I've been to downstate in the Metro Detroit area ... or the couple by Port Huron ... or the one near Battle Creek, or Kalamazoo?... somewhere on a long drive west going out of state. And I've only been to this Meijer twice but I am so glad the Mighty Meijer is present up here near Traverse City. Hello, This is my first review on Yelp ever that I am aware of.... But I experienced a remarkable act from a employee at the self check out line. Without getting into specifics just know that there was a young man by the name of Edmir * I believe* at the Traverse City Location who went above and beyond when dealing with customer (a single mother in need) . No Costco gas up here. Stopped by for a fill-up. Gas is $2.79, Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. 12 pumps for regular gas and a diesel pump off to the side. Went inside to grab some fruit, kombucha and tea. They have a huge section for self-checkout, so nice.
