“My guy and I had a wonderful time here. The staff were exceptional. The seafood boil was great. It wasn’t salty at all after mixing all of the different flavors. The price was not so bad. The prices for a Monday and no happy hour on a Monday was a bit off putting. On average beers were $8 (basic beer). White claws $6.50. Sliders $2 each. Chips and salsa $4. I thought the food was good and decent prices but beers were pretty pricey.“

“Great food and great staff. Began going to Sparkies 2 or 3 times per month about 8 or 9 months ago. With the exception of one visit, which I spoke to management about, every visit has been excellent. Typical restaurant noise, a little loud for people that are hard of hearing during their busiest hours, but not any worse than any other place around. Everything we have tried has been exceptional. Our favorites are the Fish and Chips and the Jambalaya“
“The Lakes catered a bridal shower for us today. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. We had the Michigan Salad, Firecracker Pasta w/Chicken and Salmon w/Citrus Cream Sauce. The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.“

Fluffy and doughy, buttery on the outside, with everything seasoning. They served it with garlic cream cheese which was the perfect dipping sauce! The wings were great, and the sauce was even better! We got the sauce on the side and got Buffalo ranch, ranch, mango habanero, and Carolina BBQ. Our favorite was the ranch and Carolina BBQ. “Came after a long day at work and it was pretty slow honestly. My bartender was very on top of her job. Refilled my water quiet a bit and made suggestions on what I should get. I took her recommendation of the French Onion Soup and I also got the Whitefish Rueben with Sweet potato fries. The soap was very good. Tasted just like a French Dip honestly. This place resembles one of the higher end Vegas (locals) hangouts, and the food is just as comparable. We're working our way around their menu, but the wings, filet tips, burgers and Lake Perch are excellent! We've had Joy as a server a few times and she is a excellent complement to the experience, and completely on top of everything! She's the first real professional I think we've encountered since moving to this area. This was a very pleasant surprise. Definitely worth the trip!
