“This place was great. But just remember, rice is a option per individual, so when they bring it to you , you can say no. 8 people with no alcohol drinks with 2 of the people being a 3 and 4 yearold the bill was over $320 with tip 20% tip.. the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, but it is pricing me out of the experience“
“New sushi place that is amazing!!! Easily our new go to for eating there or taking out sushi or great Japanese food. Been twice and both times service was super nice and quick. Wife has a new favorite sushi roll "Spicy Girl" and I had the ramen with crispy chicken, which was also great. Very happy to have such a solid place come to Burnsville. We will definitely be back very regularly!!!“
“If only i could rate this higher. I came to this shop after seeing the youtube short of them giving thousands of dollars of food away to the homeless and they are some of the kindest and most professional people ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you are in the area you MUST give them a try!!!“
“This place might throw you off if you've never been here before. It is blended in or might I even add overshadowed by office space. The first time I came here, I actually drove off because I saw a big tall office building. Didn't let that fool you though as they have an exterior entrance right into the restaurant. It's sushi so expect a higher price tag, but honestly not bad.I got a spicy tuna bowl with a dynamite roll. I felt that there were way too much mayo in the bowl which almost felt like I was just eating a spoon full of mayo at times. The roll had a hint of Taco as the sauce had a hint of Mexican flavored jalapeno spice. The place was filled with workers assumedly from the same building.I would recommend it.“
“I originally got an order through "Too Good To Go" and while waiting, looking at all the fresh ingredients I had to order more. Holy heck this food is so good! I was pleasantly surprised because I am a very picky bitch when it comes to sushi etc. This surpassed my expectations. I wish this place was closer. I could seriously eat here a couple times a week. It's THAT good.“
“Came here for the first time for lunch. It’s a lovely small family run operation. They mostly do takeout but we dinned in.Service was awesome and the food came so quick. This is the best sushi I’ve had around this area! The rice is perfectly cooked and we appreciate that the correct amount of rice was used (so many places use too much rice). This will be our new local sushi spot. Thanks for providing great food at really good prices.“
“Convenient sushi place for the south suburbs. We got takeout so I can't speak on the service or ambiance. I thought it was delicious, though my husband wasn't as big of a fan. I think the flavors were good but not as comparable to other sushi in the Twin Cities and suburbs. We got crab rangoon (more on the sweet side vs savory), two rolls, and chicken fried rice. The fried rice had a bit of a fishy aftertaste and was quite salty but my 2 year old daughter liked it regardless! I can't remember the rolls we got but they were good and satisfied my sushi craving. I liked the jasmine milk tea ! Huge serving of that and it was pretty affordable as well. Although the quality was fine, we felt like it was priced significantly higher compared to other sushi restaurants in the suburbs and the portions were a bit smaller. Regardless it was a good quick option for sushi that's not too far from us and it was still yummy!“
“You want sushi? That's the place! It's not cheap, so be ready ? but it is worth it. They have a lot to choose from. Won't be disappointed. Dine in, take out, or delivery, they got it all. I usually take out. Call 20-30 minutes in advance. You'll love it ?“
“I love their poke bowls. I usually do the Make Your Own Bowl. My favorite ramen is the Blazin' Hot Tonkatsu. Very flavorful and just the right amount of kick. Their appetizers are also amazing. I'm a regular, pretty much daily, Boba customer of theirs as well. The family that owns this restaurant are the nicest people too! Love this place!“
“I love this place. We always go for the hibachi dinners and they are so good (Yum yum sauce is essential). The staff is very welcoming and gives good service. I personally haven't had the sushi but I've heard it's very good as well. Pretty cool style on the interior, nice lighting, and a relatively small space which is nice.“
“This is in a mini strip with plenty of parking space. Stopped in for a quick lunch date with a friend and kids around noonish, maybe 1pm. I'll just say, we did absolutely no research before coming. Their lunch hour is 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Upon arrival we were informed the last time to order is 2:15. Service was great, making sure we get in as much as we could for AYCE. Ordered a little bit of everything. The kids really enjoyed the hibachi dishes that includes fried rice or noodles and choice of protein. The yum yum sauce that comes with was light with hint of yogurt (might be wrong in this ingredient since I didn't asked). If you love Takoyaki, these are probably one of the best ones I've had. I also really enjoy the Cha Soba, it's a chilled green tea noodle with sauce and green onions. First timer embarrassing story* about the Cha Soba. It came out in a soba bamboo tray and having no knowledge of this dish - I shamelessly poured the sauce over the soba, thinking there was a bottom . Anywho, love the soba and our waiter was extremely kind to help clean the mess I created. So, dip the soba in the sauce, don't pour, ok? Also had the crunch roll, fire island roll and spicy girl roll. My favorite was the spicy girl roll, it's a spicy tuna and yellowtail mixed. Literally, it melts with every bite. I forgot to take photos but will definitely get some in when I crave sushi again. Currently my favorite ACYE sushi.“
“I would give 5 starts to this place if wasn’t the 2 hours wait for our sushi’s.The only waitress on that night was doing everything she could , was not her fault. The sushi’s are very tasty and good price.I probably will go back probably not in a Friday night.“
“Absolutely love this place! We've ordered countless times and the sushi is unwaveringly fresh and delicious. They also make these beautiful party trays that are an incredible value. Oh, and it seems to be run by great people, I've always ordered online for pickup and the staff is always kind and a pleasure to talk to.“
“Always love coming hereWait staff and chefs are always amazing and accommodatingFood is amazing and you get great big portionsExactly what you want in a hibachi experienceAlways take my husband for his birthday with our friends and make him wear a silly hat :D“
“We stopped in for a late evening happy hour and enjoyed one of the most affordable dinners out we have had in some time. Two miso soups, three vegan sushi rolls, and a regular dinner menu vegetable udon dish were all very good and cost $34. Best deal in town.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“It's a good price for the amount of food you get all you can eat. I do something. They pack the rolls a little heavy with rice on some of them but the sashimi is good. The service can be a little lacking when they get busy so keep that in mind if you like to have a lot of refills. Other than that though, I think this place has great fried options. Very crispy.“
“I've been coming here for several years as well as their other locations, always fantastic food and they're "all you can eat" sushi is no joke I've put it to the test over 100 individual pieces not including fried scallops which are always delicious and a must-have! Premium experience every time, and the staff are always attentive and courteous!Wheelchair accessibility: Direct access“
“I’ve had conveyor belt sushi in two other places—once in Japan and once downtown Minneapolis. Typically people don’t hold these types of sushi joints in high regard. It’s more about the fun of it. However, I think Kura Sushi in the Mall of America is excellent! Lots of good bright flavored nigiri and sashimi are on regular rotation. I’d say if you’re only here for the big, fancy American style rolls, there are fewer choices. However, you can separately order some specialty dishes if you prefer. My biggest critique would be of the drink selection (It’s limited) and the tamagoyaki are too big. Otherwise, I highly recommend checking this place out. They also have small capsule prizes for every 15 plates eaten.Parking: This place is in the Mall of America which has plenty of parking available. However, at busy time you may be parking on quite a high level of the ramp. Typically, only in the busiest holiday times is it difficult to park.“
“Our cravings led us to look up a sushi place in our area, and Google maps mentioned this place! Neither of us had been before and so we thought we’d give it a try!To both of our enjoyment, the place was very nice, with some fun wall art (especially in the bathrooms?), and a very quaint atmosphere! The service was very pleasant as well, not too pushy, and not too long in between either. It probably did help that we came a little later than the normal dinner rush timeframe. We ordered two sushi rolls, however, the ramen was on both of our minds, so we put in a second order for a bowl to share! The food was absolutely delicious and we kept mentioning how good it was while we chatted and munched. I would definitely recommend the California sushi rolls, but also the ramen as well, you can’t really have one without the other!“
