“Common team / family destination when we're in Duluth for ski or mountain bike races. The reservation / waitlist maximum of six people can be a little difficult when going here with a team but we make it work and the staff here has always been very accommodating with multiple tables and checks. Sometimes we just order it to-go and eat in our hotel but the food is always excellent.”

“Weakest drink of homegrown, having ordered the exact same thing everywhere I went. Having been a bartender for years myself I’d suggest some training for the staff. Doesn’t need to be extra strong, just adequate. You should taste the liquor.

Service was totally fine on a busy night. Kudos to the staff. I’m sure it was stressful.

They had the most delicious food and my wife who has celiac disease had so many options to pick from for food. They made our night so special and I was beyond impressed. Great view of Lake Superior, cool model train running through the building… if you’re local you already know, if you’re a tourist add it to the must eat list.”

“Let’s get real… I stopped in to check out the Pharm Juice Bar in Duluth today. I selected an açaí bowl that felt interesting and asked about the granola because sometimes granola has nuts in it and I have a nut allergy. The gal behind the counter kindly let me know it contained almonds and offered to leave it off—great, awesome! My bowl ended up coming out with the granola. Mistakes happen BUT what matters is how you react. My fiancé kindly let them know we had ordered the bowl without nuts. He picked up on my exhaustion right away. The gals working there were amazing! Not only did they correct the mistake, they also went above and beyond to make it up to us. Having a food allergy is exhausting, but it’s great to know there are awesome places like this willing to go the extra mile to make it easier. Plus this açaí bowl was AMAZING!! My husband is not a sweets guy, let alone doesn’t prefer cakes… and said this was THE BEST CAKE HE HAS EVER HAD… it was so light and fluffy, icing was not too sweet and so so creamy, it was just delightful!! “Another amazing meal to celebrate a friend’s birthday (Anne). Niki was our server and from the moment we arrived (90 minutes before our reservation time) we had excellent service and advice. The wine was outstanding (and a bonus, it was Wednesday half price wine day). Split by 3 a bottle was ideal. Anne had the smorgasbord which was a visual sensation and exploded with delicious flavors! Lynn had the beets followed by the asparagus and egg sandwich. All of it was a delicious treat. I had the curry mussels with a side of fritas and as much as I wanted escargot I was full and content. Oh but the cream brûlée shared completed our meal.”

Also, the gravy for the country fried steak is different and NOT country gravy. It’s more of a chicken soup taste with what seemed to be barley?! Country gravy is a classic and I hope the trophy cafe adds it as an option! I would eat here more frequently.”

Had a delicious burger for lunch and ladies with a mildly irritated attitude were holding the place down, yet they made sure I felt welcomed. It was was like being in my grandma's kitchen. Quiet during the day, but judging by the band stage setup they have I'm willing to bet it gets a bit rowdier on the weekends.

“I visited their stand at the jackpot junction tattoo convention in Morton MN, and bought their 'Pineapple Paradise Green Tea', along with some freeze dried dog treats! I was so surprised when I first tried their sample of the Pineapple Paradise, because it tasted exactly like Lipton tea! (my favorite btw) obviously I had to buy some for myself lol. my dog also LOVES the freeze dried dog treats not only that, they are so affordable for being organic treats! definitely recommend them!!”

I had a Coney Dog, and I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t sure initially how good it was gonna be once I had it in front of me! Just like the place itself, the hot dog looked pretty humble. But my GOD, I don’t know WHAT was in that sauce, but I IMMEDIATELY ordered another Coney as soon as I inhaled my first one. Honestly, I wished I hadn’t eaten all day because of how many I WISH I could’ve eaten (they did have a buy 5 get one free deal…)!

They do sell their Coney Sauce by the pint, and if I wasn’t leaving Duluth tomorrow, I would have purchased TWO.

Please do NOT overlook Su’s Coney Island, man. 10/10.”

At 1130 I went up and ordered a brownie she gave me my table tent for it and sat down your lunch rush came in and was served there food came out in a timely manner. at 1145 still waiting for the brownie. at 12:00 I finely waved mg table tent which got a mangers attention but he got pulled away and sent someone else else to.see what I needed. it shouldn't take us to flag someone down to get a brownie. you guys where having an off day today I guess”
