I’ve been to this place so many times and I’ve had some great experiences but the main reason I love coming to this place is the people are real, the service is great and Rena is by far one of the absolute best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. “My husband and I decided to try Gary’s to celebrate his birthday. The server was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. The food and drinks were excellent. We started with the popovers. My husband ordered the filet and I ordered the parmesan crusted walleye. I also ordered my favorite drink, old fashioned. It was such a great experience!!! We loved it all and will definitely be back.“
“it’s so good, but their new menu has taken at least nine things off. It was already a little bit light in terms of content and variety, so even harder to find something I'm in the mood for. Hopefully they can add a few more items back soon. Two of the items that are not as good or their flatbread with their premade dough and their chicken wings have great flavor and are cooked well, but the quality of the chicken just isn’t there. interestingly the chips that come with their spinach artichoke dip are perfect and some of the best tortilla chips around.“

“I wanted to make more of an effort in 2024 to leave reviews for great experiences. We were Lakeville for a late fam Christmas and always love trying somewhere new. Madi K. was our server. Our food was fantastic along with the drinks. I did the Firery Bloody, she recommended a perfect Sauv Blanc and my hubby is an Old Fashioned snob and highly approved! We didn't need to bring anything home and the kids entrees/sides were at a wonderful price point (even healthy choices). We will be back for sure! Vibe was awesome and a great atmosphere. “The Lakeville Wahlburgers is awesome! The food is good. The service is great! Greg remembers your name and what you've ordered before and provides great service! Christie is an awesome manager and you can tell she spends time on training her team. Our only feedback is it's not obvious to store customers how the ordering process works.. the bartenders definitely get the rap for a less than ideal store process and are expected to manage ordering outside of the restaurant which is barely visible but they make up for it in their awesome service.“

“Stopped by late afternoon on a week day and ordered what was on special artichoke chicken on flat bread with pesto garlic sauce sounded great but seemed to be a little dry. It could have used a little more sauce, I believe, but overall, with the drinks, the price seemed to relate. Very nice establishment right on the lake. I'm sure that it is a lot more for what the place has to offer on the weekends and holidays and days with live entertainment. Not to mention, during the summer months, with all the outdoor seating on the patio overlooking the lake. Only a handful of locals enjoying happy hour with a bite to eat in a large establishment such that it is, it seemed vacant, but I will stop back on a beautiful summer's evening with my lady on the weekend for some of the good cheer that I'm sure will be many smiling faces will be there doing the same in this beautiful outdoor setting this place offers as a historic establishment of interest, memories, friends, relationships, great menu supporting the high-schools and graduates for there future opportunities and colleagues who may be waiting on your table eager to serve you with hope a smile and possibly a little stage fright.“
