“SCOOPS is a quaint family run coffee and ice cream shop. I was sent on a coffee run near where my daughter's wedding venue was held. The shop owner filled me in on a bit of welcomed information. ? I explained to him that some of the wedding party were staying in hotels in Rochester, Minnesota. He shared with me that there are some cabin rentals (longer stay options) available on a lake nearby. I took a brochure and shared it with the rest of the wedding party. I hope it drums up some business for that location too! ?”

“The service and atmosphere are nice here. Although we did only eat here once... some of the food tasted amazing, and some just lacked spice and flavor.My tacos de asada were not very flavorful at all... I'm not sure if it was just the cook for the day or if they are always that way. My brothers dish was amazing, though... he had some kind of chicken and chorizo dish.Overall, I'd definitely go back, but I'd try something else next time.”

“Showed up with my family.. ordered 2 bacon dukes and these customers that more likely regulars making my biracial children felt uncomfortable like they never seen African American families before.. luckily our waitresss was very nice and welcoming!! I have no issues except people looking at my family making us feel unwanted like it's a racial concern.. duke is no lie.. it fills up 5 adults and 8 children and still had 1/2 of a Duke left over.”

“My fiance is Puerto Rican so I've eaten a lot of Hispanic food over the last few years. El Gordo was some of the best that I've had ever. My fiance was equally impressed. The food is needless to say, so worth it. It's reasonably priced and good portions as well. The juice however, is the best part of the meal. The pineapple could be sweeter according to my fiance - but the watermelon tastes like pure watermelon and is mouth watering. The staff working were friendly and kind. We will be back!”

“One of the few MN wineries where I liked every single wine I've sampled. According to the owners, all wines are made from grapes grown in their own vineyard. Don't visit this winery very often, but enjoyed every visit. Staff is very knowledgeable, and friendly. Wine selection is exceptional, prices are decent. Would stack up this winery against nearly any Napa one ?”

“We made the trip from Austin, MN to Janesville specifically to visit The Purple Goose Smokehouse & Saloon! As our luck goes, we arrived right as breakfast was ending BUT the new owners were extremely friendly & let us order breakfast anyway!! The food alone was worth the trip! We ordered the ham & cheese omelet, french toast platter, pancake platter, and kids fries. Everything was delicious, and the waitress was excellent. Our first trip there, but it definitely won't be the last. Can't wait to return! Shelly & Doug are going to do just fine running this place ? Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved it! “Potbelly consistently has fresh, hot, and tasty food. The malts are delicious. I can recommend the banana malt. If you're in a hurry I recommend the drive-through as it clearly has top priority. There has been long waits in the past but it has gotten better.It's VERY cold inside, consistently.”
