“Usually great but food not good on a Monday eve. 6 of us. Music so loud you had to yell to talk. Guess good chefs had night off. Worse thing was tasteless chips with some tasteless cheese sauce. Have eaten here for many years. Bring back the old Village Bar. Des peres pub where people even brought their children.“

“The food was so good the first night of vacation we went back the night before we left. We got the Brett Conglomeration pizza, and wow is all I can say. There were so many toppings and a thin crust that held up very well. Can't wait to get back to St. Louis to go again!!“

“The rueben......I swear the meat was two inches thick. I'm so bummed I didn't take any pics. But, yeah, the reuben was amazing. And the fries were top notch. The service was so, so good. We had a party of 8 and Michaela W. was incredible. Oftentimes, a large party is "forgotten", but we waited for nothing, she was there when we needed refills, but wasn't just hanging around. And the inside of that place is so cool, wood everywhere, and a really nice old time wood bar, with the huge mirror. I will be going back.“

“Schmoll's is a local bar with a steady local customer base. The menu is limited but the food is on par for a bar. I recommend the wings. Go on a night when Hailey is working the bar....great bar tender, very cute, and full of personality!“

“They have the best onion rings ever and buffalo chicken wrap. The whole chicken on Sundays is always hit or miss! Sometimes it's super dry and sometimes it can be really good! Wish it was consistent but they have so many other good options that the chicken alone doesn't keep us away“

“Came in for a late lunch and love it. It's your typical pub fare, of burgers, wraps, etc with large portions and prepared well. I had the big fish sandwich and my wife the steak sandwich (cooked to a medium rare as she requested). Staff was fantastic and none of that rush to get you out the door. I will definitely be returning here. I want to try the Reuben and Philly cheesesteak next.“
