“If you like t-ravs- these are the best in town!.We have never had a sandwich we didn't love and even the meat packed pizza is yummy! George is a fantastic and fun bar tender, only to be outdown by his charming bride! The salad selection is a bit lacking, but the Mayfair dressing is delicious! It's a regular favorite!“

“The owner Mike, was a delightful man and walked my boyfriend and I through his menu. We ended up sharing a full rack rib combo with a quarter pound of brisket and homemade applesauce topped with cinnamon. I've always been picky with BBQ because it's hard to find good ribs, but this place really was probably the best ribs I'd ever had. Not only were they "fall off the bone" but they were perfectly flavored with their apple butter BBQ glaze. They close early too sometimes due to selling out so make sure you go early!“

“I've lived around the corner from the place for two years and FINALLY decided to try it a couple days ago. I'll just say that I REALLY played myself by not stopping in sooner. The mac n cheese is pretty basic as well as the baked beans, but I'm not completely going to write them off. I really liked the okra and garlic bread/toast, too. The ribs and smoked wings were absolutely delicious. I will be back, and often.“

“This place is straight gas. Unassuming from the outside. Quaint on the inside. The food is top tier and it’s halal, which is always a plus. Everything was torch. Definitely would come in again. Everything was fair priced. Don’t sleep on this gem.“

“Turkey ribs were awesome. First time having them, great with sauce or without. Smoke was excellent. Potato salad was like my grandmas. I didn’t get the turkey tips because they were out, I assume that means those are good too. This is a humble smokehouse with good people. Highly recommend.“

“We placed a pickup order about 45 minutes from close. The staff was very friendly and updated us throughout. We were missing one of our sides and didn’t realize until we left, however when we asked for extra pickles and dipping sauces they really gave us extra. “This is one of my go-to spots after a bike ride. Bbq and beer is a great reward for the hard work! Went yesterday and it was all decked out for st. Patrick's day plus had a special menu and was all staffed up. I got the corned beef special. Not normally something I'd go for but it was really good! “My wife grabbed me a pork steak sandwich and fries and it was great. I'm picky ab pork steaks and this place really made an impression and as close to 141 as it is makes it even more of a desirable stop and go. Would recommend and repeat.“

“We ordered the Nubby's Favorite and the Hawaiian pizzas for lunch along with 2 house salads w/house dressing. The salad was so crisp, fresh, and tasty we were still talking about it today. The pizzas were even better. They had just the right amount of delicious, fresh ingredients. Great job! We'll be back “

“It was the first time having St Louis style ribs. They were fried and burnt to the consistency of charcoal. If that's the way there supposed to be then fine and not for me. The staff was very accommodating and let me switch them out for some dry rubbed smoked ribs and they were good. I also had the brisket and it was very good. I would go back again. Just need to know about the St Louis ribs. Not willing to give up.I was in town again and decided to give this place another try. The Mac- n -cheese, fries, popover, and this time the ribs were excellent. However the brisket was dry and tough. It really should not of been served. I've eaten at a lot of BBQ's joints and Salt + Smoke is not alone. They are all hit or miss.“

Most bars don't like out of Towner's but they included in their round of shots and I drink too shelf??But that fish platter ???. The Owner and and her sister also check on you to make sure your good. The manager was very welcoming and introduced himself and advised me on food favorites and was very kind. He went above and behind my expectations! He even gave me a discount for my first time here ordering for my employees. While my experience left me slightly underwhelmed given the price point, with the All American burger priced at $17, boasting two 6oz patties adorned with cheese, grilled onions, and mayo, I found the onion portion lacking. Asked for med-well cook, came out well done. However, the seasoned fries were great! Despite this, I'm intrigued by the other enticing combinations on offer and plan to explore more options in the future. “Great new spot. It has lounge vibes. Eclectic selection of bourbon and whiskey bottles to buy. They also do flights. Some hard to find stuff. All reasonably priced. Great beer selection. They also serve a small list of food like sliders and nachos. The chicken sliders were very good. I had a few Ben Holladay old fashioned and they were excellent.“

“As a visiting Memphian, I can admit that I was headed to patronize another Black Owned Restaurant, smelled the bbq coming from this place, and I had to turn around. Least to say, I am so glad that I did! The man at the counter was friendly & the food was scrumptious! My friend is an even bigger critic of food and die hard Memphis BBQ defender and even he had a hard time saying anything bad about the tips, beans, or potato salad! You do pay a pretty penny & I could’ve done with maybe half the portion of rib tips but if your belly can hold a lot at once, it’s well worth it!“
