“We frequent Teleo Coffee with our family after moving to St. Louis. As a European, in my first months living in the US, I visited so many coffee shops where I could feel the cozy atmosphere and smooth, delicious coffee like in my homeland, and I found it here. This place has become like a second home to me, especially thanks to the friendly baristas and owner of the establishment. This is the very moment when you come to this cute house with a huge bright veranda and they greet you and call you by name. They also participate in donations, helping different organizations during certain periods with a small percentage of drink sales, which is amazing!P.S. “We came here 10 years ago and remember the custard being amazingly smooth and creamy, but we didn't feel it was as good today. Also, it is a lot of chaos, and we stood in a line for 5 minutes before realizing it wasn't a line. Finally, there are no benches anywhere for people to sit. “Born and raised in Belen, NM (although I now reside in Minnesota), I dream of New Mexican food on a daily basis. While visiting St Louis, MO with my family we found this gem of a diner. I had the huevos rancheros (Christmas) and it was amazing. Our server, Nicole, was kind and attentive and our food came out in good time! “Went here for date night. Very nice inside with flowers on the table. The service is very fast. I have food allergies and I knew I couldn't eat alot of the things on the menu, my boyfriend loves this place and we went here mostly for him, but I was able to have steamed broccoli with noodle rice and carrots and shrimp with no seasoning, they did offer sauce that doesn't have any garlic or onion, but I was still afraid so I just ate it steamed. It was very good. I like how they can accommodate for allergies.“

Altogether very tasty, would recommend that, and the gyro was similarly great. “We stayed at the Cheshire hotel and were fortunate to have Basso on the premises! We met a friend here the first night of our stay. The restaurant is in the basement. The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. The fries and shishito peppers were very good. We highly recommend this hidden gem and thank Autumn and Julie for making our stay in St. Louis so memorable! Half of the homemade chips were crispy so that was nice, but I would've loved every chip to be able to break in half and not bend.Still, you should go and give this place a shot!“

The serviced was spot on, drinks came out quickly and the food orders followed close behind. So many different dishes were served and it seemed as though everyone enjoyed the food. They did not seem to mind we sat around for a couple of hours swapping our stories. Another nice thing was they let us have separate checks, which makes for a much easier time for our group.
