“We have gotten Papa Murphy’s salads and pizzas for as long as it has been there on North Oak. Always given excellent friendly service and I feel like I’m part of the family when I walk in there. Their pizzas are second to none because you build them and they just put them together and you bake them at home fresh anyway you want to. Add salad lovers. Their salads are individually made to order and my wife and I usually get one salad and split it with one pizza but if you just wanna make a salad your dinner, it is more than enough quality ingredients to make a meal.. I have tried other pizza places the last one Papa John’s did not have 2/3 of the ingredients on a very simple chicken barbecue pizza. The ingredients did not even come to Within 2 1/2 to 3 inches of the edge of the pizza very little chicken, will never eat there again. From now on, it’s Papa Murphy’s. Always.❤️“

“We had Garozzo’s cater our rehearsal dinner at Boulevard Brewing. From the very beginning they were extremely helpful getting the entire dinner together. They held a tasting at their restaurant downtown, where we were able to sample a lot of their different courses on their catering menu. This was a great way to find exactly what we wanted for our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic and they were constantly in touch with us through the entire process. They kept us up to date through the event. We highly recommend Garozzo’s to anyone needing any event catered.“

“We had only been to Rockhille Grilel once before and didn't have a great experience. Buuuut, we decided to give it another try during their Happy Hour. I got their Bruschetta and it was the BEST I've ever eaten and so delightfully plated. Simple, yet classic. Our server, Trevor was EXCELLENT. The Rockhill Grille will DEFINITELY be on our, "regular" list“

“A typical, quick, breakfast place with the usual selection of breakfast fare except no hashbrowns offered.Service was excellent - staff asked if I was new to the area as "it's usually a local spot".Wheelchair accessibility: Normal sized doorways, however not sure if automatic doors openers were present.“

“My wife ordered Jon's Denver omelet and requested spinach instead of the peppers. No problem with the substitution. Omelet was done just the way she prefers. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs over easy. I also added an order of toast just so I could get the raspberry spread. Corned beef hash was a standard in my parents' home. I hadn't eaten it since I graduated college in 1968 and left home. My mom's version was really good, but Homegrown's was exponentially bette r. Brooklyn was our server. She was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. A diverse menu of well prepared and presented food with first-rate service at reasonable prices.“

“The sea salt dusted mocha chip cookie is amazing. The cappuccino was equally good. My only “complaint” is, why ask me if my order is to go or here. When I answer, “I’m going to savor the cookie and coffee here”, please don’t put the cookie in a paper bag and the coffee in a paper cup. I feel like I’ve been given a doggie bag. I am a guest in your place of business, and I’ve come in to relax, recharge and enjoy some quiet time; instead I felt rushed, drained and overwhelmed by the loud music.“

“Special night at Pierpont!! My Mother-n-Law's bday and they made her feel very special from the moment she walked in and throughout the meal and ending with a free bday dessert! Brussel sprouts, oysters, wedge salad, crab soup, pork chop and blue cheese steak were all perfectly done and delicious!“

“We traveled from South Carolina to visit family and they took us to Brewer's Kitchen. The food was exceptional. Each burger option is unique, fresh cut fries seasoned just right. The fact that everything is locally sourced is a plus in my book. The staff was friendly and caring. Give Brewer's Kitchen a try and you'll go back.“

“Mildred's is to die for. Whether you just want coffee and a pastry or a full meal at breakfast or lunch you cant go wrong. My favorites include the fruit smoothies, the fresh granola bars, cranberry-turkey sandwich (if you aren't very hungry or try to portion control you can get this in a half portion which I appreciate). When the weather is nice the outdoor seating is ideal as it's located on one of my favorite blocks in the city with plenty of tree cover.“

“Love it! My first time trying this restaurant, as well as African cuisine as whole; definitely first-timer friendly. The owner was super nice and took my call ahead order; she even gave me advice to make sure I understood the menu, as I told her what I was I was new to trying African cuisine. I ordered Egusi Soup w/Goat and Fufu, as well as a side of Jollof Rice and Chicken. When I came to pick up the order, I met the owner and she was super sweet and gave great customer service. The food was definitely full of flavor and smelled/tasted phenomenal! The area it's located in is a little creepy at night, but definitely worth the drive.“

“Amazingly great food that is out of this world. Definitely for the major foodie at heart. Didn’t get the baklava cause we were told kitchen was closed…. Not mad as we had dessert elsewhere but coming from an industry employee the last course in service should also be the last station to close in the kitchen. The meal itself was fantastic and everything i could have wanted which is why i was very disappointed i was able to try the dessert. Oysters were delicious, ribeye seasoned and cooked to perfection, bone marrow melts in your mouth, cauliflower that take your love for the veggie to another level. Craft cocktail menu is a true craft cocktail menu not like most other restaurants want to be craft menus.“

“I have been to many Tapas restaurants as they are my favorite kind of places to eat and this one was, by far, the very best! The food was ALL incredible and came out quickly after ordering. Usually at tapas places there are some dishes that are just "ok" but here...every single dish waa great! Our waitress was amazing, even providing recommendations (like getting whipped feta with the stuffed dates which ended up being one of the best things I've ever eaten)! The atmosphere is cute and cozy and perfect for a Spanish restaurant. Love the wall decor and all the pillows on the benches. We live in St. Louis and are already planning a trip back for a special occasion! Highly highly recommend. Definitely 5 stars in my book!“

“This weekend my boyfriend and I were wanting some Birria tacos. We found GG's Barbacoa Cafe on Yelp. I'm so glad we decided to stop in. The service was great. We were promptly helped and was offered assistance. We got a plate of 4 Birria tacos. We also got the Horchata and both were so delicious. We would definitely come back.“

“PROs: Quaint and intimate setting/location; like the small town feel. Plenty of seats. Friendly service provided by our waitress, Stephanie. Food is good. Coffee was great too. Clean establishment.CONs: Parking can be problematic depending on the time of day.I find this place to be better than Corner Cafe or Cracker Barrel.“

“The fix has become my partner’s and my favorite place to go to when we visit Kansas City. They’re open hours during the day when other restaurants are closed which has consistently driven our business to them, and we’ve been glad it has because their food has been SO good each time we’ve been there, both their daily specials and from their regular menu. Their portions are generous but not ridiculous and again I can’t mention enough times, their food is great. The food has also been served to us quickly each time, even when they’ve been busy, and we’ve been there I think about 4 times now. I highly recommend this place, especially if you love delicious vegan food.“

“Pho was good and priced about right compared to other Vietnamese places in town. Came out in a reasonable amount of time too. Service wise, I was left alone during my meal. It's common that I'm asked how my meal is or if I need anything, but no one spoke to me after taking my order and I didn't get any water refills either. The place was about 85% full when I was there.“

“Some of the best Indian around. Very friendly service. Great dessert. Try the buffet when it is offered. A little pricey but worth it. Naan is NOT included like a lot of Indian Restaurants. There is free Chai Tea. The Chicken Masala is SO good. The dish they bring it out in makes it look like it’s a small portion but I can’t finish it most of the time and always walk away very full. The desserts I have tried are also great.Vegetarian options: Yummy wife would remember better. Butternut Squash with choice of type of sauce. Tofu is an option with types of sauce. I think there are others.Dietary restrictions: My wife has asked for coconut milk instead of dairy milk and they never hesitate she gets the butternut squash masala with coconut milk instead of the chicken masala. She loves it.Parking: Shopping center parking lot. Never had issues with parking.Kid-friendliness: Family run business. Have brought all seven of my children and they have never seemed concerned like some restaurants. We did a birthday for one of our children here.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor. Parking lot has handicap parking with ramps to the sidewalks. There would be tables or booths that would accommodate wheelchairs.“

“I wish there was a way to give 3.5 for food.Anyway, the atmosphere was great. The fire pit in there is really cool. It does get busy and crampy.Service was at par for a place like this.Food was a solid 4/5 but the coffee was more like a 3/5. Both of us ordered 2 different coffees (one hot and one cold - both were baristas recommendation) and they weren't all that.If you look at my other reviews you will see we go around KC trying coffee shops. I would go here for the food and ambience but I'd recommend coffee from somewhere else.“

“If you are looking for tasty food, good drinks, and a relaxing patio in Kansas City?? Cliff's Taphouse off Gillham road. We happened to go during happy hour and ordered an appetizer off of the happy hour menu. We started with the Bruschetta for $7, which was stacked with fresh ingredients. I ordered the MASSIVE buffalo chicken wings off of the happy hour menu for $11. I also ordered a side of creamy mac & cheese. My friends ordered the large Steak & Gorgonzola Salad. During happy hour, there are select $5 cocktails that you can pick between if interested. The service was great and attentive as well. I will definitely be back for happy hour and brunch asap! Highly recommend Cliff's Taphouse in Kansas City if you are looking for a patio and great happy hour deals.“

“I never expected to find such a gem scrolling for breakfast on google. Their breakfast menu brings a beautiful blend of culinary fine dining with home style comfort food. The owners are so kind and genuine quick to strike up a conversation. And their house made chai tea is absolutely to die for, I will definitely be back time and time again for that alone. I can’t wait to come back and try their specials!“

“Nothing fancy, but so delicious!!! First the free mint tea is the perfect pairing with the meal. My son got the salmon with hummus, this is his first experience with middle eastern cuisine (13m) and he loved it. The hummus is creamy and pairs well with the pita bread. I got the beef swarma, the meat was a bit dry but the falafel was amazing!! Hands down sum of the best I’ve had. We can’t wait to come back!“

“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“

“The coffee is great, but the smoothies are to die for. The strawberries and cream smoothie is my holy grail, and it’s all I can think about. “Our first time trying Brown & Loe. We dined while their "Saturday 2-5 PM menu" was in effect. It's a limited menu while they recover from lunch/brunch and prep for dinner. What this menu is not, is an incentive to draw you in during their less busy time of day.Let's start with the good, no, the VERY good. We had the cheeseburger and Betty Club, both with curly fries. Both sandwiches were excellent - among some of the better sandwich plates we've experienced in Kansas City. Atmosphere is great. It's in an old turn of the century former bank building that retains it's period character. Wait and bar staff are all dressed in black and white - a nice touch for a place that is not stuffy and overpriced. What wasn't so great was our starter - calamari. Given the quality of everything else, I'm going to chalk this up to just a bad day with it. It was well overcooked, which means in was rubbery. The breading was dark brown and presented oddly. It also leaped from the calamari at first touch, was dark brown and oily. Overcooked, presumably. I was surprised they served it.It took our server a fair bit of time, maybe more than 10 minutes to get to us (at the time, visible wait and bar staff outnumbered customers), but she made up for it afterward - good at her job, pleasant and professional with us. We were also thanked by all on our way out, including who appeared to be the manager in charge. A nice touch. They would have easily receive 5 stars from me if it weren't for the calamari miscue. I still highly recommend!“
