“Went with the guys for a burger and beer on a weekday around five. Place was already busy but we got a table immediately. Service was very good. I had the jalapeño burger, coleslaw and smithwick beer. Burger was excellent. Jalapeños were fried and piled high I normally don't notice the bun, but that was also very good. I ordered coleslaw as my attempt at dieting. Was average. My compatriots fries looked very good. Large portions.“

“Our group of hikers stopped in for lunch after our hike in Castlewood State Park. The atmosphere was quiet, yet comfortable for a Saturday afternoon. The customer service was great! Our waitress offered me samples of the chicken gumbo and roasted red pepper and Gouda soup. I went with the roasted red pepper soup and the shore dinner with the basa fish. It was so good!!! My tastebuds were extremely happy ? Definitely worth a return visit!!!“

I had the Big Chief burger and homemade chips. That was delicious and served in a basket. The service was great . “Today my husband retired after more than 50 years working. He was given a gift card to Bandanas so we went out for lunch to celebrate. We have always loved Bandanas and still do, but we had an unfortunate experience with the gift card. Their system for processing gift cards was not working, and we had to pay the bill ourselves. It could have been handled better -- the manager could have compensated us and ran the gift card when the system came back up. The food and service was great, but it left a bit of a downer on our celebration. They gave us back our gift card and said we could use it later, but we will not be anxious to return to Bandanas anytime soon.“

“Dogwood is one of my absolute favorite spots! Whether it's meeting up with girlfriends or a date-night with my spouse; it's always perfect! I went two nights in a row with friends. The first evening I got my most favorite bone-in wings with the Asian sweet and spicy sauce on the side. The second night I had the pita with hummus. The red pepper hummus was extremely tasty and delicious! Wow!!!! I don't even like red pepper hummus usually and me and my friend ate on that the entire night! Highly recommend!!!! You get mashed potatoes and green beans. The fried mushrooms are bomb with the horseradish dip. Cheeseburger is strong! The Willy onion rings are fabulous. “We had our mid-winter Model T Ford lunch here. Probably 25-30 folks showed up. They have an area that was able to accommodate us all, and we had great service, even though we were a larger party. The serviced was spot on, drinks came out quickly and the food orders followed close behind. So many different dishes were served and it seemed as though everyone enjoyed the food. They did not seem to mind we sat around for a couple of hours swapping our stories. Another nice thing was they let us have separate checks, which makes for a much easier time for our group. There is more than one location in the area, and we plan on trying a different one next time.“

The service also leaves very little to want. Wait staff is courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. And the atmosphere is is that of a golf theme - but also gives off somewhat of an old time eatery as well. Highly recommended for your next lunch outing, family gathering, or just an anytime meal.“
