“I always enjoy my meal from Black Bear diner. Always consistently good whether carry out or dine-in. Dine-in service is friendly and responsive. This is my go-to spot for a great breakfast!“

“I have been going to this location for Culvers sense they came to Independence.

Food is always good and very few mistakes.

There sometimes is a wait but they are always busy so that is to be expected.

Bathroom was clean on my most recent vist if anyone needs a bathroom. Not the biggest bathroom one stall and one urinal.

If you good food I would go here not doubt.“

Our dinner meals were 5 stars. All of the staff were very friendly and hard working. We had the chocolate tasting for dessert and it was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Inside what used to be a hospital (Independence Sanitarium) and is now the Ennovation Center, is a great breakfast/lunch (or dinner) place with better and more than average variety. Recent change of management has improved it, though it was good before. I love the Reuben, packed with corned beef and cheese. No alcohol, just good value, with daily specials, and fast service.“

“This is a unique restaurant. Our food was very good. BLT with onion straws, chicken special with mashed potatoes and green beans, house salad and open face pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Service was great. Skip the chain restaurants and support a local establishment. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Yes, Dennys has been there a long time. Yes, the culture of people that will eat there has changed. But this resturant is one of the good ones. Its a survivor, for sure. At this place, a certain waitress deserves recognition. If you go to Dennys, on Noland Rd, and Deliverance is your server, ypu will enjoy prompt attention, a genuine smile, and excellent service. She will not desert you, she will check on you, keep your coffee warmed up. She fixes wonderful, generous side salads, and every person that eats there is her friend. She also stays busy, and is always helpful to her team members. I want to honestly say she is a 5 star server, in a 2 star clientele, at a 3.5 star location. As for the location, the cook is a black dude, wears a red Royals hat, and boy howdy, is he ever a good cook. Dont hesitate to go there. You mifht have to put up with big fat entitled mammas who act like the world owes them, with 8 screaming kids, but you will get good service, and good food.“

“I Came in to 39th st location at 8:00pm to grab order of Nashville hot mozzarella sticks. Lady said they were out of Nashville hot so I went with whatever else they had. Came back 10 minutes later and said they were also out of mozzarella sticks. I feel if a store closes at 10:00 they shouldn't start closing at 8:00. Bad customer service.“
