Truly one of my favorite places in KC for *years*. It's one of the few places you can get homemade almond milk in all of KC, which is an absolute reason to drive a bit further. I do wish they had some gluten free friendly options (maybe I've missed them?), but everything else I had prior to going GF was awesome.
It's 7 am and hot Blueberry Lemon Scone with a glaze just came out of the oven and is resting on the counter next to the register. You pretty much have to try one.The scone is delicious. I tend to ignore scones because I feel like they are a bit dry. This was still warm so it was moist in the center with a nice crunch on the edges. This little place is really nice, with a great atmosphere. They have delicious pastries and coffee. I'm not sure what other drinks they have, I was a bit focused on the coffee that day.I've been there twice now, and both times were great. I sat there with my friend, undisturbed, and we enjoyed our drinks and chatted away. The staff was kind, which I always appreciate.
