I can’t let the night end without giving rave reviews for Tannin. I’ve lived in KC for 10 years, and have been to Tannin a handful of times; it’s always a wonderful experience. We’ve visited Tannin Wine Bar & Kitchen many times, and we’ve had nothing but great experiences here over the years. The staff is always kind and down to earth, and they serve some of our favorite food in KC with a smaller menu. Kris was our latest terrific waiter. He’s someone you’d love to serve your table every time you go out. It certainly feels like Tannin management sets and maintains a high bar for service with their staff, because they are consistently awesome....read full review

Talor and Rebecca were such great severs! The Cabernet pared so well with the kc strip and. Frites (I got salad) but then I switched to the espresso martini which paired so well with the fudge stuffed peanut butter cookie! Pairings patter and the staff were great!
