“Really great food without all of the grease that you usually get with fried food. Not only do they have top notch chicken (probably the best in St Louis), but they also have really good fish and shrimp. They have frog legs! I haven't tried them yet but judging by their other food they're probably as exceptional as they look. They have good portions on the yummy sides, as well. The okra is prepared and cooked correctly- not slimy or greasy at all. The staff is super friendly and courteous. It's a nice atmosphere to dine in; adequate seating and eclectic decorations. Not fast food in quality and ambiance, but close to fast food speed getting your order.“

“Last night , I spent hours searching for the best restaurants in St Louis and I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were amazing and let me tell you, the reviews were correct. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the bulgogi and rice bowl, the charred wings, and cheese fries. We also tried a peach shot, they didn’t taste strong but the results were. I normally don’t visit a restaurant more than once but I’ll be a repeat customer anytime that I’m in town. I also loved the customer service. The woman taking my order was very cheery and made me feel welcomed. Many of the customers are repeat customers that were also talkative and welcoming. I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5.“
“Just went to Chuck's on South Kingshighway (old Courtesy Diner) near Tower Grove Park. So glad they are there. What great food and service. Had 3pc tenders (Level 3) and Chicken Sandwich (Level 2). Both were great; good flavor, crunchy breading, and juicy. I prefer my chicken on the spicier side, so I'd go with Level 3 from now on. Pickles added great flavor and crunch. They have other higher levels of heat, as well as a Zero Level for those that just want great fried chicken. Also had the seasoned fries, which were hot and crispy; green beans (very good and typical southern style with bacon and onions); and slaw which we also really enjoyed. Finally the service was fast and very customer friendly. I recommend giving it a try and I'll definitely be back.“
“Turkey ribs were awesome. First time having them, great with sauce or without. Smoke was excellent. Potato salad was like my grandmas. I didn’t get the turkey tips because they were out, I assume that means those are good too. This is a humble smokehouse with good people. Highly recommend.“
“Just a heads up they do have a sign that says they can search you before entering. We came in a Saturday night and it was busy! They had two customers celebrating their birthday so the bar decorated the entire place! There is a DJ in a booth. There is a stage to dance. Outside there is two covered seating areas, fire pits and tons of room for at least fifty people. The bartenders were very nice. They made us lemon drops which were delicious. The atmosphere is very neat, laid back and fun. They promote for 35 and up for the "grown and sexy." It is a club feel.“

“Ok, so I drive by this place often and even know the owner but today was our first time in. We walked in and the young lady cashiering helped us decide cuz the menu has options from breakfast to dinner! We went with the turkey sausage omelette which came with a hashbrown and 3 pieces of toast....it took about 20mins for the food to be ready and another 15min to get home-i wasn't sure if my hashbrown and toast would be soggy, but lemme tell u it was still crispy and hot!! We didn't need to add any salt or pepper and the veggies were fresh too. I gotta go back for that tripe and some wings tho“

“Hidden gem! Despite being hidden in a rather boring strip mall Cowbron truly stands out as a great Mexican restaurant. It's a relatively new spot, and as I mentioned it's pretty unknown, so don't expect to wait long for a table. I personally have eaten here about 5-6 times and have yet to wait for a table on a Thursday or Friday night. Don't be fooled, they are amazing but quite off the map in terms of nearby restaurants, which is how I account for their low wait times. The food is great! The fajitas are large portions, enough for two to split after a couple baskets of chips and queso, and they have THE BEST CARNITAS I have ever had in my entire life. As a former chef I can definitely speak to this as carnitas are a dish that take time and thoughtfulness to be done great, both of which are evident once you've tried the tender meat on offer here. As a regular to Mariachis II and La Catrina I can tell you that this place has earned a spot in my top 3 favorite Mexican joints in the city. Go to Cowbron!“
“Always wanted to try the pizza world joint since I lived in the area for 20 years about. I don't know why I never tried there pizza. It was super delicious and yes it's possible to mess up a pizza. Not pizza world the pizza was on point. Crust was perfect and very good to taste and perfect crunch (that's how I like my pizza crust). Was a little expensive but I'll take it. We will give a second go around another time to see if it's just as good. I would highly suggest the Via Bianco .“
“For my first time here, I really liked it! It’s a decent chicken joint with several different levels of spice for said chicken. I got 5 tenders on the level 1, because it was my first time and I didn’t wanna go too high on the levels and end up not enjoying it. If you’re a first-timer like I was, I’d recommend either level 1 or 2. One of my friends had level 2 and I was able to handle that alongside level 1. “Coltranes has always been a pretty laid back place. The place has been around since I was kid. During the day it's not real loud or anything. They have 2 pool tables and a few golfing machines. “This is my favorite restaurant in stl. The fried chicken is so good and they have the best fries very well seasoned. Their burgers are also delicious, I ordered a small burger with fries and it was only $6.53 but the portions are HUGE. If you need something cheap but delicious definitely get the burger. “The service was great! My server (Jamie) was awesome! Was very attentive, not just me but all of the other tables which she had 5 or 6 others. She was very personable, with a great personality. The manager was sitting at the bar as well which is where I was sitting. He helped her a lot in getting food for the tables. He was also very nice and personable as well.
