“Ok y'all this place is a MUST!! Holy crap this food was so good. It is located a little outside town, and from my understanding right on the family's working farm. Everything home style cooking, and delicious!! We ordered a lot. And there were a lot of us that came in right before closing, and we are so thankful they accommodated us! So we tried the smoked Gouda cheese curds as an app, the brisket platter, the catfish plate, the kids rib meal, the 1lb burger with brisket and cheese speciality, the loaded potato, the pulled pork burrito, and the pulled pork sandwich plate. These all come with an assortment of sides like mac and cheese, cole slaw, baked apples (wow!!!), etc. Everything was amazing. I wouldn't have changed a thing.“
“Hoppers has really good fish and chips food wise. The seevice the night i was there was a little lacking. My server didnt seem to concerned about asking if i needed a refill or another alcohol beverage. I kept having to ask for one. You'd figure that if i was buying a $8 drink they would ask if i wanted another.“
“This place has a unique charm. It reminded me of some Northwoods Wisconsin places we have been to which we weren't expecting in Missouri. Everyone was super friendly and the portion size for the pork cutlet sandwich was surprisingly generous. Save some room for dessert if you like bread pudding. My son starts at Missouri S&T in the fall and I am sure we will be back then.“
“We visited on a Sunday late afternoon early evening. Wasn't too busy. Service was excellent food even better. I had a steak, and my husband had a double cheeseburger. We had a couple of drinks, and our bill was just over $60We'll definitely be back. The only down thing was it was a little too dark. I had a hard time seeing my food. Next time we'll find a table under a light fixture.“
