“I visited this spot on a whim, hungry after a workout and I'm so glad I did! It popped up on Yelp with great reviews so I stopped in. The service was great and the food came out fast. The smoked Turkey was super flavorful and tender. Definitely try the spicy house bbq sauce on the turkey and the baked beans. Chefs kiss. The greens weren't my cup of tea. They weren't bad, just was missing a little something for my taste. I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area.“

A bit smokey so if you’re sensitive it may not be the place for you. Would recommend to anyone looking for the dove bar atmosphere without the seediness that typically comes with a dove bar.“
“If you want the best chicken modiga look no further. i have eaten this at a lot of restaurants including "Italian restaurants" that have no comparison to West Allens. The salads here are big and have a great amount of extras. If you like steaks look no further as they are juicy and full of flavor and the steak butter adds a nice touch. French fries, ribs all great.“

“This was my first time visiting Dog Prairie Tavern. Let's just say I will definitely be going back in the near future. It's a hidden gem ?.They have indoor and outside seating, along with live music and sand volleyball. It's a welcoming establishment and pricing is reasonable.“

“Ok, so it's not the biggest bar and yes it does smell like smoke, that is because it is a smoking bar. Hard to find one of those in St. Chaz county. So if you dont like smoke then this is not for you. The location has 2 pool tables, however the one table closest to the entrance gets moved quite a bit not only because of the DJ/Karaoke but by patrons also who think they are the best pool players in the world. Anyways, beer is cheap and cold, shots are good and the staff dress kinda scantily, so there is that. The food is pretty good and cheap. Garlic parm wings are my fave, but make sure you always get them extra crispy so the wings dont absorb too much and get soggy. They have high tops only, a long bar, touchtunes, golden tee, and a cigg machine in there. This is not the ritz remember, it is a bar.“

“I would put Donatelli's Italian food up against any in the St. Louis area....even restaurants on "The Hill" ! We have been going for years and have always had fantastic food. Also, a great piano bar with live music (check their website). You can have a gourmet lunch with a drink, salad, entree and fresh hot Italian bread for under $15. Compare that to a fastfood burger meal (yech!) for over $10. Professional, friendly wait staff. Great for special occasions or just an informal lunch/dinner.“
