“I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years now after a friend recommended it to me but we hadn’t had the opportunity to stop by on our travels from STL to Springfield until recently, I can’t believe I waited so long!!! This place is a gem! A must-visit restaurant if you are ever in the area! The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, very warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Definitely recommend the egg drop soup, it was one of the tastiest versions of this soup I have ever eaten! Everything looked delicious and I can’t wait to visit again soon for another delicious meal the next time we are in the area! Highly recommend!!!”

“Our gym crew comes here every Saturday, and it's a great place. Food is good and decently priced. Staff is great as well. The only downside is that it does have a blocked off smoking section. We don't smoke, and we don't really notice, but someone who is really sensitive might.”

“First of all, if I was just reading this on how good their wings and the strawberry churro were, this would be five stars. However, the burger I purchased consisted of several different leaner meats, and there just wasn't enough fat in the burger to make it juicy. It was dry and lacked flavor. I ended up throwing my expensive leftovers away.

We plan on coming back, but we're just going to order a table of wings and follow it up with the strawberry churro. Those were absolutely amazing.”

“We LOVE this place. It is the best ramen we have had since actually living in Japan. My daughter is 8 and would eat here every night if she could.
The staff is amazing and the main waitress is the absolute sweetest person. I 100% recommend.
Side note: they close at 8pm usually so best to get there before 7pm to make sure you have time to eat. Ramen is always fresh and hot when served so it takes a bit to cool down!”

“I would highly recommend this restaurant, as a former employee that moved from the area then came back to the area. My family still comes back to eat here time and time again. They take allergies and special request seriously and try their best to accommodate anyone that walks into the business! They always treat my daughter amazing and make sure we are taken care of. Juicy Crab Shack lives up to its name with incredible crab legs that are juicy and flavorful. There’s no shortage of food, especially when you go for the combos - plenty to share or satisfy a serious seafood craving. The prices are reasonable, and overall it’s one of the best crab experiences I’ve had. Definitely a place to check out if you’re a fan of crab!”

“This place really is a treasure! I visited here after a recommendation from the owner of a nearby Korean grocery store. This is the ONLY Korean restaurant in town that serves authentic home style Korean food. The food, the ambiance, and the personalities all remind me of my own Korean mother’s home.

The yukgaejang was very flavorful and made with love. The banchan was fresh and delicious. It was absolutely perfect if you prefer traditional Korean food over the trendy modern Korean food. You can see in one bite why this lady has been in business over 20 years.

The owner came out and chatted with me as if I were a family member and not a customer she just met for the first time in life… she even introduced me to all of the random Korean ladies that stopped by to chat with her (which by the way… is the MOST valid sign that this Korean restaurant is the real deal. Which made me feel very safe and at home as a traveler in a new city.”

Wonderful!! A great treat to compliment your pizza, or enjoy it solo. Just do it!!”

“It was so hot when we got there that the flies were lined up at the door to get out of the heat. I thought it was going to be bad eating with flies flying around but once they flew in the door, they nosed dived to the floor because of the air conditioning. So we had a good BBQ meal with no bugs. If you're traveling by, it's worth the stop.”

“I came here because friends had given me rave reviews about The Hub…and they were absolutely right! The food is not only positively delish, but this family serves it with so much pride and warmth! The young man who served me made sure I got the NEW batch of German potato salad at the end of the lunch shift, and personally vouched for it. The schnitzel was tender and flavorful, the mushroom gravy making the perfect accompaniment. Their daily lunch specials are tantalizing and unlike other establishments, there is no skimping on portion or ingredients. This was my first visit here but I intend to bring friends soon to enjoy this German treat!”

But, in my 20 years, I’d prefer this restaurant over any of the others. Cleanliness is key to what I look for, this restaurant strives for a clean place to dine. Not a fan of loud busy, (drunk), Smokey places. So I prefers this place as MY PLACE if I go anywhere. Like a quiet family friendly quiet place without cussing or drunk patrons, La Familia is your place too.”
