“I’ve been a loyal patron of HKI my entire life, even working at the Ozark location while in high school. For my 33rd birthday, I treated myself to my go-to: half and half daily special with crab rangoon. As always, the food was exactly what I hoped for.

“Not all of their food is great, but their low mein noodles, fried rice and their appetizers are absolutely amazing. I've tried their other items, but honestly they're not really anything to hype up about. With how large their menu is, there's not a whole lot of options. I usually get my chicken or main entreys somewhere else and swing in here for the sides, because let's face it, this place has the best noodles and fried rice.“

The food was very quick and it was delicious. We had Egg drop and chicken noodle, Beijing Chicken, Szechuan Fried Rice, Hot & Spicy Chicken and General Chicken and all food tasted good!!

Very clean restaurant, several games at each table to enjoy, and they even have to-go boxes out along with other things you may need (salt, sauces, fortune cookies, silverware, etc.)

“Food is always good here, it is super busy today on Christmas. Everybody is being rude to your employees acting like it's their fault that it is busy. Everyone is where they are supposed to be doing their jobs, so there is no complaint from me, hope the rest of the night slows down for you guys. “You will be pleased to come here.We used to come here before it changed. However, after it changed to 888 it has become my son and my family's favorite food. I literally snuck in a different Chinese restaurant the other day and my son noticed immediately and asked me to please go back to 888 next time. We have been here three times this week and I'm sure it won't be the last. When it comes to myself, I'm a picky person and this has the best fried rice I've ever had. It's rich and buttery. “My husband and I love Hong Kong Inn. The food is always very good with very large portions (we always need a to go box) and it has remained reasonably priced for years. We have never had any issues here and have tried other (higher rated) places on Trip Advisor just to see if we're missing anything, but we have always been disappointed. Now, we just stick to what we know is consistently good and affordable. Thank you for keeping your prices down in today's economy.“

“Had the General TSO chicken. Perfectly balanced heat. The breading was a kind of crispy that this chef is going to try and figure out. Did the reheat challenge to see if the breading would hold up. It did.

“I haven't been to a Panda Express since my late wife and I were regulars back in L.A. before moving to Missouri in 2021. I kinda missed it and while in Springfield on business, I looked for a location close to the freeway. As I did when she was alive, I ordered the Family meal size and was in culinary heaven when I got home an hour and a half later. It was just as consistent as the L.A. locations. Once my plans of moving to Springfield happen, I'll be stopping here again.“

“We love Asian King Buffet - we frequent the buffet scene in Springfield and this place is definitely in our top 5.

Service is outstanding. We typically get the same woman and she is so kind, always on it. Takes dirty dishes away quickly and checks in on our needs 2-4 times during the meal.

We love coming on Friday nights for Crab — you really can’t beat it price wise. Personally we feel the butter has a somewhat burnt taste at times.“

“Run of the mill chain. This place is close to my office, and is a good nutrition-friendly option, so I'm here probably 3-4 times a month. They can get on a kick where they are quite skimpy on the portions, which is incredibly frustrating. Usually bowls are heaping. I've had to go back twice to show them and complain. One time in particular (see pictures) there were only 6-7 small pieces of orange chicken and a tiny scoop of super greens in my bowl. Thankfully, when I went back inside and showed them and they filled my bowl. Most of the time they're good. Drive through takes a long time during lunch hour, but that's to be expected. Note to corporate, if you have an app that required a qr code scan to redeem, you need a way of scanning that doesn't require the employee to take my phone to do it. Usually it's not an issue, but I really don't like handing my phone to a stranger.
