“Our family loved it. It’s a cute little place with delicious (and aesthetically pleasing)treats, and the employee was very friendly. There are tables, seating for 2 mostly, and K-pop which my daughter also loved. We’ll definitely return!“
“So delicious! This was sadly my first visit, as this has sat on my bucket list of places to try for far too long. They did not disappoint! I got the veggie stew special, but I added protein. The lady got the bibimbop and she really loved her meal. Portions are hearty, and I consider it a great value for quality of ingredients, preparation, and presentation. They came around after to ensure our dining experience was excellent. They will be going on vacation soon, so if you need to get your fix of great Korean food, do it sooner than later (unless you want to wait until October)!“
“Last night , I spent hours searching for the best restaurants in St Louis and I stumbled upon this one. The reviews were amazing and let me tell you, the reviews were correct. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We tried the bulgogi and rice bowl, the charred wings, and cheese fries. We also tried a peach shot, they didn’t taste strong but the results were. I normally don’t visit a restaurant more than once but I’ll be a repeat customer anytime that I’m in town. I also loved the customer service. The woman taking my order was very cheery and made me feel welcomed. Many of the customers are repeat customers that were also talkative and welcoming. I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants and this one is definitely in my top 5.“
“Just ordered delivery for the first time here and we loved it!! Everything was prepared well; the croffle is heavenly, rice crispy chicken was moist and fried well, and the Okonomi Toast was a delightfully different comfort food addition to breakfast. Will be eating here again, frequently!“
“I thought this place was Nashville style hot chicken, but it's Korean, and a hidden gem! It sits in the shell of a former favorite, Bek Hee, on Page. There's not much room for dine-in though a few stools are provided at the counter shelf that runs along the large glass windows. They offer chicken and shrimp in a few different styles: bulgogi, teriyaki, red (spicy gangjung), and fire (extra spicy) flavors. If heat isn't your thing there's still something to find here. Service was fast for a dine in order. Food served in the ever present styrofoam tray and cans of soda are available for beverages. I got the fire chicken combo with rice and was very pleased. Meaty chunks of breaded chicken glistening with bright red sauce, sprinkled with crunchy batter crisps and scallions. 100% recommend, don't let the humble presentation fool you, what's going on inside is special!“
“The gimbap (especially the veggie and the donkatsu kinds) is perfect every time. My other favorites are the classic bulgogi and the tteok-bok-gi (spicy rice cakes). Overall, it's delicious and very reasonably priced, especially considering the generous portion sizes. Check it out if you're in the area!“
“We had a great hotpot experience at Shabu day. We got seated immediately upon arrival.I like how spacious and clean the place is. We ordered the beef broth and house spicy broth with brisket and premium beef sirloin. The beef broth was very flavorful. I also liked the dipping sauces here. Outstanding service and attentive staffs. I think the price is fair for AYCE.“
“Had their weekend buffet. Delicious food for a very reasonable buffet price. Go and see for yourself. Not sure how much the buffet changes, but some dishes that were present (but not all of them):Tandoori chicken, chicken korma, Tikka, chicken bulgogi, spag paneer, they had several vegetarian and GF options.Milk tea was great.“
“Wonderful food. Elegantly presented sashimi, sushi, takoyaki, gyoza, udon, don buri (bowls of food), and other Japanese options. Many many types of sushi rolls. In total, there is not only more than standard Japanese fare, but it is also delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. Many different sakes, mixed drinks, and Japanese beers along with international Gin, bourbon, tequila, rum options. They even have Japanese soda pop. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely decor with exquisite hand painted scenes. I had been there once before and couldn’t wait to go back for seconds to show my adult son who also, this day enjoyed his food immensely.“
“On a busy Tuesday afternoon, I was craving some fast and authentic Korean-Chinese food. I haven't been able to find a place that fulfilled my cravings until now! I ordered one Jjamppong Seafood ($19) and one Sweet and Sour Pork ($16) to-go. Along with my dishes, fresh rice and a side of kimchi were packed. Even after the delivery time, the food was piping hot, fragrant, and fresh. The Jjamppong Seafood had fresh noodles that complimented well with its sweet, slightly spicy, and garlicky broth. For a flavorful seafood noodle soup, I found around three shrimps, a good amount of tender octopus, a couple chewy mussels (slightly over cooked possibly due to the very hot broth), and a variety of vegetables-zucchini, onions, and carrots. For my Sweet and Sour Pork, I was surprised at the small amount of fried, battered pork with it being $16. However, the pork dipped in the delightfully tangy and sweet sauce packed a lot of punch. If you're not a fan of tangy, almost-vinegary flavors, I would not recommend it to you. To explain my 4/5 stars rating, the kimchi was very salty and bland. I wasn't sure if this was a new batch of kimchi that had not been fermenting long enough or if they made it with a lot of salt to begin with. I had hoped to refresh my palate with a bite of kimchi but could not bring myself to overcome its overwhelmingly saltiness. Lastly, menu items are on the pricier side. Personally, I thought the Jjamppong Seafood was worth it, considering its well-sized portion. Overall, both my dishes did not disappoint! If you are new to trying Korean-Chinese food or even trying to find somewhere good, I would highly recommend this restaurant! I'll definitely be back in-person to explore more of the menu. P.S. Do you prefer soaking the pork/beef in the sweet and sour sauce or just dipping?! I prefer the latter to maintain the meat's crunch!“
“Definitely coming back! I came here today for work to order for myself and my guys for the first time. The manager was very welcoming and introduced himself and advised me on food favorites and was very kind. He went above and behind my expectations! He even gave me a discount for my first time here ordering for my employees. I’m definitely coming back here and eating more because of the quality of the service and food but overall because he is a kind helpful man. Great manager of this location !“
“Very friendly staff and the food is terrific. It is freshly made, flavorful and a good value. The staff is terrific at making suggestions and will adjust for vegans and vegetarians. It also is locally owned independent business that deserves your support.“
“I knew this was going to be good the second I walked in and got a whiff of some bulgogi. This might be my favorite restaurant on Olive Blvd. There was a bit of a weight but with good reason.. Unlike most places, Korean Cuisine uses heated stone bowls that keep soups and rice very and consistently hot. I got the chefs special Bibimbop and with the sweet gochujang, this cheesy beefy rice dish transformed my view of quality Korean food. Nothing missed. All around fantastic food and friendly service. Coming back soon for sure.“
“Fusion Korean food on a primer side. The chicken rice bowl was good but not great (personal opinion). I thought the rice would be warm but it was cold to the core.A small meal with one regular size bowl and a small side of kimchi came to be around $22.“
“I went here with a group of 3 couples to have Korean bbq and do some karaoke and we were not disappointed. It was popping the night we went and the staff forgot a few things, but were very apologetic when reminded and quick to bring out what we were missing. I loved everything we had to eat and the sharing experience with friends was so fun! The best has to be the karaoke!!! We got the smaller room which was a bit cramped and got a little hot with 6 people, but you cannot beat getting to hog the mic with only 6 people. On top of that, the staff let us stay and sing while they cleaned up for an hour AND didn't come in during the middle of the song, they let us finish up before we went. Love this place for a date, a group outing, and it is probably really good for carry out too.“
“They have such a great take on chicken wings! The wings themselves are very delicious. So much meat on the bone. They're cooked to perfection, still nice and juicy, with a nice crunch from the breading. The boneless wings are huge and are pretty much big pieces of cut up breasts. The sauces are great too. Many of them are Asian twists on classic styles. The sides are great too. Very good all around.“
“I came here for dinner before a long night out to explore the bars close by. The food portions are enormous! I ordered a bulgogi bowl with extra meat, and it's not your usual Korean food portion. It was massive! It was a hearty dinner. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance is all right for a quick dinner or lunch here.“
“A friend and I went here before a concert down the street and could not have been happier with our dinner choice. Even though they were busy there were plenty of places to sit. The food was delicious and the service was satisfactory. I would absolutely choose to eat here again!“
“Was in the mood for tuna bowl or some sort of bowl that was healthy and we happened to be down the street the Honey Bee when this place came up and saw that I had 37 minutes to get there and get my bowl lol. This place is hidden in a corner and can't see it so you have to know where to look....I passed it once But we walked in on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. My daughter and I were planning on ordering and taking it to go since they close at 2. But, the lady(assuming owner) was inviting, didn't seemed bothered that we came in right before closing so we ordered our food to dine in.Daughter got their squid fried sticks and chicken tenders (she's 9 don't judge lol). She liked both of them and said were very good. I did try a bit of her chicken tenders and chicken was fresh not dried....wasn't expecting much for tendies but was impressed. I of course got the beef bulgogi with the egg on top. It was so good and extremely filling! We even ordered the chicken tenders at 1:47 at our food and was out by 2! I also over heard the lady literally taking a to go order with 5 minutes before closing. I love how accommodating and kind she was. The kinda service that makes me def want to come back and want to dry their other stuff. Def recommend giving it a try. It's nothing fancy.....food is served on to go containers, paper plates, plastic cups, etc. the chairs weigh a ton lol. But the food and service is top notch“
